"Mom, did we have guests over today?"

Ron had just gotten home after working overtime. He lifted the cover on the table and glanced at the midnight snack Mrs. Weasley had saved for him, his eyes widening slightly at the unusually lavish spread before him.

"I invited Albert and his wife to The Burrow for dinner today." Mrs. Weasley was busy with her work and answered her youngest son absentmindedly.

"Hurry up and eat."

"What did they come here for?" Ron asked warily.

"Harry wants Albert to be James's godfather." Mrs. Weasley was in exceptionally high spirits and failed to notice the change in her youngest son's expression as she continued, "To be honest, your father and I thought Albert would refuse. Harry mentioned before that he was rather afraid of trouble."

In truth, the Weasley Couple had always been grateful to Albert. Whether it was Fred, George, or Percy, all of them had received his help. They had always hoped Albert's relationship with their family could become closer, and Albert becoming James's godfather was an unexpected delight.

"What!"

Ron was shocked by the news.

"Shut up, Ron. If you wake James, I'll skin you alive."

Mrs. Weasley put down what she was doing and glared fiercely at her youngest son, as though he had just committed an unforgivable offense.
