Most of the time, holding meetings too frequently was pointless. No matter how much was said, it was all just a load of nonsense.
Even Albert had to admit that when it came to this, but sometimes there was no choice but to do it. All he could do was keep the meeting from becoming a time-wasting formality.
"Look, we saved you the head seat."
Fred rose from his chair, walked around the round table, and greeted Albert with a smile as he entered.
"I just checked on Avalon's progress. It feels like we're running out of time." George came around from the other side as well, draping an arm over Albert's shoulder and handing him a sheet of parchment. "How about you delay your trip around the world?"
"If I leave any later, they'll probably start fighting over there first." Albert rolled his eyes, pulled out the chair at the head of the round table, and accepted the parchment George handed him. "As long as you follow the plan I left behind step by step, there won't be any problems. Shanna is fairly reliable in that regard."
Lee Jordan glanced toward the doorway. After confirming that Shanna had not arrived yet, he said softly, "Shanna isn't as reliable as you are, and I think there's a good chance she won't be able to handle it."
"What if she one day decides to quit too? Who among you will manage Avalon then?" Cedric, who had just come in from outside and happened to hear that, could not help glaring at Lee Jordan.
Cedric knew better than anyone that it was impossible to count on Albert to manage Avalon. Otherwise, he would not have trained Shanna to take over his position.
