"Harry, you're back awfully early today!"
By the chicken coop beside The Burrow, Mrs. Weasley was feeding the chickens bran when she heard the familiar crack from nearby. Looking up toward the sound, she saw a familiar figure approaching.
"Yeah, it just happened to be my day off." Harry stopped beside the chicken coop to speak with Mrs. Weasley.
"You should have told me earlier so I could have found time to make something you like. Ever since you became an Auror, you haven't had a proper dinner at home." Mrs. Weasley felt sorry for how busy Harry was. Since becoming a proud Auror, working overtime every day had become routine for him.
"No need, Mum. Sirius invited us to Grimmauld Place No. 12 for dinner. He said he wanted us to try his cooking, and we could bring Little James over for him to see."
Ginny came out through the side door of The Burrow, James still asleep in her arms. She looked around and, seeing that Harry had returned alone, asked directly, "Where's Ron?"
"Ron still has to work overtime tonight, so he can't come with us." Harry took Little James from Ginny's arms. Whenever he had time, he liked holding his own child.
"Don't be ridiculous. Sirius can't cook." Mrs. Weasley raised an eyebrow. "Don't tell me you're expecting him to make shredded potato and egg pancakes for you?"
Harry and Ginny exchanged looks, not daring to answer Mrs. Weasley.
They naturally knew all about it.
Ever since Albert had given Sirius a cookbook as a christmas gift last year, Sirius had eaten shredded potato and egg pancakes every day.
The reason was simple: they were easy to make, tasted quite good, and could easily be adapted into potato pancakes suited to one's own tastes.
Sirius, who
