Urging You to Do a Good Person
"Damn it, those bastards!"
In the Slytherin Common Room, Flint had just finished throwing a tantrum, plopped down in an armchair. He had been deceived by those bastards again. How dare they say it was all his fault? If they hadn't set him up to cheat him first, why would he be unwilling to pay back the money?
What are you going to do?
Lucien frowned as he looked at Flint, who was throwing a tantrum, and asked.
This incident indeed infuriated Lucien, but he didn't lose his temper. Those people were clearly more cunning than his own, and they were obviously at a disadvantage. Moreover, their wands had been stolen; even if they wanted revenge, they couldn't cause trouble without their wands.
Worse still, Truman was right; they were the ones who owed money and wouldn't pay it back. Even if they wanted to ask for help, there certainly wouldn't be many Slytherin students willing to get involved in this dispute. On the other hand, there were quite a few students owed money, so they had no advantage whatsoever.
"This time, it's our turn to ambush them," Flint said through gritted teeth.
"Ambush?"
The others were stunned by Flint's words. Snow was still falling outside the castle, and they had no wands. How could they ambush their enemies and take revenge? Weasley had promised to return his wand, but who knew when they would actually do so?
"Don't forget, we don't have wands right now. What are you going to do?" Warrington finally couldn't help but remind Flint, lest his anger cause him to completely lose his mind.
"Calm down first. We don't even have a wand right now. How are we going to ambush them?"
"If they don't send our wands back in an hour, we'll borrow them from someone else!" Flint said, taking a deep breath.
He was determined to get revenge on Truman for the humiliation of having his pants pulled down; this matter couldn't be left unresolved.
The group exchanged bewildered glances, and one of them raised his hand to cover his face. "Don't forget, everyone has gone to Hogsmeade."
Flint froze on the spot, clearly having not considered this question before. He gritted his teeth and said, "Then borrow from the freshmen. The first and second-year students are still at Hogwarts."
"I don't think it's necessary to make this situation too tense," Perikin Derrick clearly disagreed with them. After all, they were at a real disadvantage, and continuing the conflict would only cause trouble for them. Perikin Derrick hadn't forgotten the mess that had happened last year and the year before; back then, Slytherin students had suffered a great loss, and the unfortunate fellow whose head had been shoved into a toilet still didn't understand who was behind it.
"So what are you going to do?" Flint asked Perikin Derrick coldly, his tone unfriendly.
"Negotiation with them."
Without hesitation, Perikin Derrick said, "Reduce the amount of Galleon we have to pay. Those bastards have already taken a lot of our Galleon, and they keep causing us trouble. We'll reduce the payout to the normal odds and then give them the rest of the Galleon."
"Are you going to admit defeat?" Flint's tone became even more hostile, and everyone else stared at Perikin Derrick.
"No, I'm going to break up their group. Those people are only gathered together to collect debts from us. If they get to Galleon, they'll naturally disperse, and then we can take them down one by one instead of being targeted by a group," Perikin Derrick argued. He didn't really want to get involved in this dispute; everyone could see that Flint was about to lose his mind.
Making a scene would do them absolutely no good. Moreover, the other side outnumbers them and is united; going head-to-head with them now would undoubtedly be an unwise choice.
"Who else thinks this way?" Flint looked up and glanced around at the crowd, then saw several people walk up to Perikin Derrick to show their support for him.
"Fine, you can choose not to participate in the next operation," Flint said coldly. "You can also go and negotiate with those bastards, and we'll handle the rest ourselves."
Flint never received his wand. Perhaps Albert was on guard and didn't send it back immediately. So Flint and his friends had to borrow wands from other freshmen. Whether they would be easy to use or not, there weren't many Slytherin freshmen willing to lend Flint wands.
Flint and his friends managed to borrow wands, and they even tried to build Snow House like Albert. However, this wasn't easy for Flint, a student with average grades. It took them quite a while to build the Snow House, and by the time they crawled inside to warm up, they were shivering from the Snow House.
Moreover, the Snow House Snow House was not as warm as they had imagined; it was still very cold inside, and because it hadn't been deliberately hidden, it was quite conspicuous.
"We must hide it," Flint asked. "Who among you knows the Disillusionment Charm?"
An eerie silence fell over the area.
While they might know quite a bit about random Dark Magic, a spell like the Disillusionment Charm is extremely difficult to master without specific training. Otherwise, the Disillusionment Charm wouldn't be a spell that Auror are required to learn.
"What to do?"
The group looked at each other, unable to come up with a better solution.
"Then let's not do it!" Flint gritted his teeth and said, "Our goal is to block them. This is the only way they can get back to school. I don't believe those guys can sneak back to the castle without us knowing."
However, after Flint and his group had been waiting in the Snow House for a long time and were shivering from the cold, Flint noticed a rustling sound coming from outside.
"Someone else is coming; it must be them this time."
When Flint called out to go outside, he saw that his Snow House was already surrounded by a group of people.
"Hey, what are you guys planning to do? Ambush us?" Truman's mocking voice rang in Flint's ears. "You actually got your hands on a wand, so you were planning to ambush us after all!"
He was a little surprised when Albert told him about it via his Communication Bookmark; he hadn't expected it to be true.
What were they planning to do? When he looked at the group of people shivering from the cold, he almost burst out laughing, but Fred and the others started laughing in a very immoral way, and the others joined in.
"Seriously, are you guys not joking?"
Flint's cheeks flushed bright red, and he was so angry he felt like his head was about to explode. If he hadn't been pointed at by a bunch of wands, he would have wanted to punch the other guy in the face.
"Don't move. There are only five of you. We have more people on our side," Truman said lazily.
"Don't think that's the end of it."
"If there's a next time, don't blame us for not giving you face." Truman patted Flint on the shoulder and smiled as he ushered everyone away.
"You're not cut out to be a bad guy. You should be a good guy instead," Fred said, patting Flint on the shoulder. "There's nothing wrong with Do a good person like us."
"They must have been joking just now."
I almost died laughing.
"It's amazing that you can still shiver from the cold even though there's Snow House."
Flint's outburst made the students who were collecting debts realize that if they encountered them alone, they would definitely face retaliation.
They must unite and not give each other such an opportunity.
