Quirinus Quirrell's Story (End)
Through a letter from the Minister of Magic, Quirrell successfully tricked Dumbledore into leaving the school. He knew it was time to act, and he had never been so fully prepared.
The first guard of the Philosopher's Stone is Hagrid's Three-Headed Dog Fluffy. According to information Hagrid and Quirrell purchased, all it takes is a piece of music to Fluffy to sleep.
Having easily dealt with Fluffy using his harp, Quirrell breathed a sigh of relief, opened the Trapdoor on the ground, looked down into the deep tunnel, and began to recall the information he had purchased.
The second challenge is the Devil's Snare set up by Professor Sprout.
Without much hesitation, Quirrell jumped into the tunnel, and just before landing, he cast a Shock Absorption Charm on himself, landing gently on the Devil's Snare.
Those damned plants started to stir when they sensed their prey.
Quirrell waved his wand and conjured flames, dispelling the surrounding Devil's Snare and quickly breaking free from Devil's Snare.
How did they know all these secrets, selling all sorts of information?
Could it be that guy has already come here once?
That guy was a scheme by Dumbledore to lure him into a trap.
As Quirrell walked down the corridor, his mind was filled with questions. He had already heard the voice; it was the Flying Keys, which required him to grab a rusty, door-shaped key.
Quirrell saw keys flying everywhere, Flying Broom, and a locked door.
After failing to use both the Unlocking Charm and the Counter-Unlocking Charm, they had no choice but to mount their broomsticks and fly into the air to begin a capture operation.
Rushing into the dense array of keys, Quirrell frantically grabbed and scooped, but the keys, enchanted by Professor Flitwick, were too fast to dodge, nearly driving Quirrell to madness.
What should have been a quick pass took Quirrell a full half hour before he finally managed to grab the key, shove it into the keyhole, and turn the door to enter the fourth level: Wizard's Chess.
Quirrell's own Wizard's Chess skills are only so-so.
However, he wasn't worried at all; Sells All Information, including the tips for Wizard's Chess in the letter sent to him.
He didn't even consider trying it himself. Instead, he took out the strategy guide from his pocket, which was the same strategy Albert had used to clear the Wizard's Chess last time. He played the game step by step and easily passed the Giant Chessboard Array set up by Professor McGonagall.
"This money was well spent."
Quirrell looked at the fifth level he had set up and muttered to himself.
The Troll security guards weren't actually that dangerous; their biggest problem was their stench, so Quirrell casually cast a Bubblehead Charm on himself.
Of course, Quirrell himself has his own insights into how to train Troll, otherwise he wouldn't have made Troll the fifth level.
Of course, when Dumbledore asked him for help, he suggested renting a Troll bodyguard from the Goblin to protect the items.
As Quirrell entered the room, he immediately waved his Troll at the troll.
The Troll's head was covered in bumps. It kept scratching and scratching its head, and finally used the stick in its hand to hit the bumps. As a result, it not only created large lumps, but also staged a comedy of knocking itself unconscious.
After the Troll, the next challenge is Snape's logic puzzle.
Quirrell glanced at the contents of the parchment on the table and felt a headache coming on. He rarely dealt with logical reasoning and had little talent in that area.
It would probably take a lot of time to find the answer.
However, this time, Quirrell knew the answer directly. He chose the smallest bottle, drank the Potions inside, and then passed through the black flames to reach the seventh level set up by Dumbledore.
According to the information that Dumbledore would sell any kind of information, he hid the Philosopher's Stone in the Mirror of Erised. The best way to deal with it is to pack up the mirror and take it with him, and then study it later.
But how could he move it so openly? Besides, Quirrell had spent so much time getting the Philosopher's Stone, and he couldn't wait any longer.
In the Mirror of Erised, Quirrell saw himself obtain the Philosopher's Stone and gain the power and status he deserved. Those who had once mocked him were now trembling at his feet.
"But where could the Philosopher's Stone be hidden?"
Quirrell tapped along the edges of the mirror frame with his hand, but to no avail. Undeterred, he checked again and again, but still couldn't find where Dumbledore hidden the Philosopher's Stone.
He was already so close, and he would never allow himself to fail, nor would his master Voldemort.
"What's going on with this mirror? What is its function? Help me, Master!" Quirrell had no choice but to ask the Dark Lord for help.
"Waste!"
Voldemort was very dissatisfied with Quirrell's incompetence. He looked at the Magic Mirror and said, "Dumbledore has cast some kind of spell on the Mirror of Erised, hiding the Philosopher's Stone inside. The Mirror of Erised can make people see what they desire, and you need someone else to help you take the item out of the mirror. A wizard who desires the Philosopher's Stone 'Philosopher's Stone probably won't be able to take it out of the mirror."
"But at this point in time, where can we find other people?"
Quirrell was quite helpless. He suddenly realized how reliable the method given by that guy Sells All Information was.
If you had listened to the other person's advice from the beginning, you wouldn't have wasted so much time.
"Give up your incompetent ideas. What good is stealing the Magic Mirror?" Voldemort was quite dissatisfied with Quirrell's incompetence.
Just as Quirrell was about to pack up the entire Magic Mirror and take it with him, he heard footsteps coming from not far away. The famous Harry Potter had actually appeared here.
Quirrell laughed, a very happy laugh! Because the foolish Potter actually thought Snape wanted to steal the Philosopher's Stone.
It seems that my performance was a success.
Of course, it also has a lot to do with the fact that Snape doesn't seem like a good person.
Quirrell easily subdued Harry, leading him to the Mirror of Erised, and began to boast incessantly about his exploits. He, too, longed to share these things with someone and enjoyed seeing the incredulous look on Potter's face.
Anyway, once he gets the Philosopher's Stone, he won't let the other person live anymore.
If anyone's to blame, it's himself for being too nosy.
"What did you see?" Quirrell asked expectantly.
"I saw myself winning the House Cup for Gryffindor," Harry replied, but another voice rang out in the room.
He's lying!
"Tell me the truth, what did you just see?" Quirrell pointed his wand at Harry's head, nearly gouging out his eyes.
"Let me talk to him...face to face..."
The Dark Lord was equally interested in Potter, who had defeated him; however, this filled Quirrell with fear and unease.
Each time the Dark Lord expends his energy, it significantly weakens Quirrell's life.
The unicorn's blood did indeed keep Quirrell alive, but his life force was still being drained. He was merely immortal; Quirrell was growing weaker and weaker.
The Dark Lord truly lived up to his Dark Lord, easily seeing through Harry's lie and finding the Philosopher's Stone that Dumbledore had hidden—right in Harry's pocket.
Although Quirrell didn't know how Dumbledore had done it, he didn't care at all; getting the Philosopher's Stone was enough for him.
Instead of immediately seizing the Philosopher's Stone, the Dark Lord tried to entice Potter to pledge allegiance to him, and he undoubtedly failed.
Moreover, Harry Potter actually rushed towards the black flames, which was incredibly stupid. Didn't he know how terrifying those flames were?
"Grab him, quick!" Voldemort screamed furiously.
Harry Potter is dead, but he would never tolerate the destruction of the Philosopher's Stone as well.
Quirrell, who was already prepared, pounced on Harry and knocked him to the ground. He straddled Harry Potter, grabbed his neck with both hands, and prepared to strangle his savior to death first.
"My hand—my hand!" Quirrell exclaimed in horror as he discovered that countless blisters were forming where his Ripper's, turning a bright red, as if burned.
"Fool, kill him with magic, quick!"
Voldemort's shrill voice echoed in Quirrell's mind.
When Quirrell was about to use magic to kill Harry, Harry desperately touched Quirrell's skin with both hands, causing him to scream in pain and preventing him from using magic.
If I can defeat Harry Potter, I can get the Philosopher's Stone and fulfill my wish, gaining the power and authority I desire. I'm just one step away from success.
Quirrell desperately tried to push Harry away, who was holding him, but the intense pain almost completely overwhelmed his reason.
Finally, Quirrell felt someone pull the unconscious Harry Potter away from him.
Dumbledore, he's actually back.
The moment Dumbledore appeared, Voldemort realized he had failed. His fragmented soul broke free from Quirrell's body and sped away into the distance, quickly disappearing from sight.
Voldemort's departure was almost the final straw that broke Quirrell's back; with his passing, Quirrell's life was like a candle flickering in the wind, about to be extinguished.
Even the cursed life bestowed by the blood of a unicorn could not prevent death from coming.
Quirrell lay on the ground, staring in the direction Voldemort had fled. Dumbledore's image was reflected in his pupils, and his lips moved slightly, "You bunch of liars!"
