The train stopped at a station on the outskirts of Berlin, the Germany capital, for supplies. Sera and Albert, amidst the confused and puzzled looks of the train attendants, dragged their suitcases and ended their long journey around Europe ahead of schedule.

"Mr. Harishis".

The flight attendant quickly stepped forward to stop the two people who were about to leave, kindly reminding them, "This is Berlin, Germany, and you haven't reached your destination yet."

"I know this is Germany," Sera said, "But we're planning to get off here early."

The two walked forward amidst the flight attendants' astonished gazes.

Before leaving, Albert vaguely heard the flight attendant muttering something behind him, something like, "What a waste of Galleon."

If you only buy a ticket to Germany, it probably won't even cost half a Galleon.

However, Albert didn't feel bad at all since it wasn't his own money being spent.

Sera led Albert into a somewhat old-looking grocery store next to the station.

The place was dirty and cramped, reminding Albert of the Leaky Cauldron.

An old woman with a hunched back sat at the counter of the grocery store. When she heard the doorbell, she looked up at the door and suddenly gave them a very strange smile.

"Long time no see, Harishis. What brings you here?"

"I just happened to be passing by and stopped by to visit an old friend," Sera said with a smile.

"Does that include me, this old woman?"

"Of course, Adeline."

"You're still as bad at lying as ever," the old woman chuckled.

"We need to use the Transfer Gate to get to Veedebess Village," Sera said, explaining her purpose for coming here.

This place is quite a distance from the Veedebess Village, which they are going to. Unlike Diagon Alley, which is right behind the Leaky Cauldron and can be entered directly by opening a door in the backyard of the pub.

Transfer Gate.

You can probably guess what it's used for just by hearing the name.

This trip was really worthwhile; I saw a lot of interesting things along the way.

Indeed, the world is full of wonders.

Albert soon saw the so-called Transfer Gate with his own eyes. It was an old stone door embedded in the wall, which looked like a relief stone door that had been left there as decoration.

"Keep up!"

Sera stepped forward, poised to drag Albert into the wall with her.

The next moment, the two of them passed directly through the stone door.

This scene is somewhat similar to pushing luggage past the stone wall at King's Cross Station 9, only the effect is different.

As he passed through the Transfer Gate, Albert felt like he was being thrown into a washing machine; he was dizzy and lightheaded, and he still wasn't used to the feeling.

At least, using Vanishing Cabinet is much more comfortable than this.

The two walked out of the stone gate one after the other, and no one on the street paid any attention to their appearance.

"Don't ask me, I don't know either."

Sera seemed to know what Albert was going to say and cut him off before he could finish.

"The Transfer Gate is an ancient technology left behind by wizards from long ago. It has now been completely lost. I think its principle may be similar to the Vanishing Cabinet, but I don't know much else about it."

"The Transfer Gate is a bit outdated, but it's still worth studying in depth." Albert was very interested in the door, and even Sera noticed it.

"Traveling using Floo Network is obviously much more convenient," he said with a smile.

As they spoke, the two walked through the stone-paved street and came to a park with a fountain. Albert even saw several children playing around the fountain.

"Welcome to Veedebess," Sera said with a smile. "A little unexpected, isn't it?"

"That's true. This place feels completely different from the wizarding towns in Britain." Albert looked up and around.

The town of Veedebess completely overturned his perception of wizard towns.

"That's because the town of Veedebess is still very young," Sera explained with a smile. "It has been rebuilt before."

"Reconstruction?"

"The Muggle wars reached this town," Sera explained to Albert as they walked. "Many houses were destroyed and had to be rebuilt. They renovated the town, and it's no longer the Veedebess town it used to be."

Oh, so it was bombed!

Upon closer reflection, it's not entirely incomprehensible.

After all, this place is located on the edge of Berlin, so it's not surprising that it was bombed, and the town is actually bigger than expected.

It was also thanks to the fact that wizards from various countries were very good at hiding that they were able to carve out a large area on the edge of the capital, Berlin, to serve as a wizard village.

Albert believed that the Germany Ministry of Magic must have spent a great deal of time and effort to successfully hide the village.

Wizards do have the Undetectable Extension Charm, which can expand space, but the essence of the Undetectable Extension Charm is merely to expand the original space, and most magic will gradually lose its effectiveness over time, making it difficult to maintain for a long period of time.

"This place is indeed more spacious and prosperous than Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade." Even Sera had to admit it.

"If the Ministry of Magic is willing to spend a lot of time working with Galleon to repair Hogsmeade, the village won't be too bad," Albert said.

"Unfortunately, that's impossible."

"There are two wizarding towns in Germany where no Muggle live," Sera told Albert. "The other one is in the Black Forest in the south. Like Hogsmeade, it's old and neglected, so it becomes like that, and so do the people."

"That's true."

"There's a commercial street over there that specializes in selling things," Sera said, pointing to the bustling eastern street of the town. "But now's not your time to go shopping; we need to visit my old friend first."

As he spoke, the old man led Albert into a secluded alley and finally stopped in front of a house that looked rather old. He raised his hand and gently knocked on the wooden door.

Footsteps sounded in the room, and the door was opened from the inside.

"Sera, I never expected you to come to Germany."

The person who opened the door was also an old man, but he looked rather disheveled compared to Sera, who was dressed in a suit, which perhaps confirmed what he had just said.

"Your grandson?" The old man's gaze quickly fell on young Albert, and he asked curiously, "Still an apprentice? He looks quite good."

"Not your grandson, Jonas." After giving the old man a simple hug, Sera pointed to Albert and introduced him, "This is Albert, I think you know who he is."

"Oh my god, who is this? He's even younger than I expected." Jonas looked Albert up and down, took a step back to make room for the doorway, and gestured for him to come in.

"This is Jonas, an old friend of mine," Sera introduced to Albert. "If you need anything special, you can buy it from him."

"Hello, Mr. Jonas," Albert said in French.

"Your French is excellent, Mr. Anderson." Jonas looked at Albert in surprise, not expecting the other man to speak fluent French. "Much better than my grandson."

"Mark, come here for a second," Jonas called upstairs in German, and soon footsteps came from upstairs.

"Grandpa, what's wrong?" The young man hurried downstairs.

Sera glanced at Albert, feeling a bit like laughing. He knew what Jonas meant, but his old friend had clearly misunderstood something.

The old man had no intention of correcting this small mistake; he believed Albert could handle it himself.
