Terrifying Herbology Expert
The next day, Albert woke up very early in the morning.
The sky outside the window was overcast, and it seemed that the weather around Hogwarts would start to get really bad once September arrived.
Without Tom, who used to be so cute, by his bedside, Albert felt a void in his heart.
His roommates were still asleep, and Albert didn't want to disturb them. He quietly got dressed and went downstairs alone. He planned to visit Professor McGonagall first and retrieve the Time-Turner from her.
Isobel had told him last time that she could no longer possess the Time-Turner because the number of Advanced Class available in sixth grade had been reduced.
This is hardly good news. Without the Time-Turner, Isobel can no longer freely date himself.
To make matters worse, Albert only has two years left to acquire the Time-Turner.
Time is becoming quite tight.
Unless Albert is prepared to continue taking Twelve Subjects Advanced Class in sixth grade without giving up on other subjects, which would undoubtedly be a terrible decision.
The Advanced Class was indeed much more difficult and the workload was much heavier. Albert was already busy enough, and he doubted whether he could keep up and not break down like Hermione.
Some courses will definitely need to be dropped when students enter sixth grade.
While Albert was lost in thought, he had unknowingly arrived on the second floor of the castle and was heading towards Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration Office.
However, at the corner, he bumped into someone.
"Sorry, I didn't notice... Are you alright?"
When Albert came to his senses, he discovered that the person who had bumped into him and caused him to fall to the ground was none other than his old acquaintance Katrina.
He reached out apologetically, trying to pull the other person up from the ground.
"Fine!"
Katrina snapped out of her daze and realized who she had bumped into. After a moment of stunned silence, she didn't grab Albert's hand but instead struggled to her feet.
It wasn't hard for either side to guess why the other would come to this place at this time.
"Are you angry with me?" Albert asked tentatively.
"No," Katrina said curtly.
"That means they're angry."
Albert looked the red-haired girl up and down, sighed inwardly, and changed the subject, saying, "You're here to get the Time-Turner from Professor McGonagall too, right?"
"Um."
Katrina responded with a sound of agreement and then fell silent.
The two silently walked to Professor McGonagall's office door, and then Albert reached out and knocked on the door.
About a minute later, there was a sound from inside the door, and the wooden door quickly opened, revealing Professor McGonagall.
She was a little surprised to see the two of them together, but quickly guessed why they had bothered her so early in the morning, so she let them into the office first.
Professor McGonagall took two Time-Turner out of the box and handed them to Albert and Katrina, giving them a few words of advice.
Albert said he knew, put the Time-Turner in his pocket, said goodbye to Professor McGonagall, and left Professor McGonagall's office with Katrina.
"This is a rare opportunity, would you like to take a walk together?" Albert invited the red-haired girl beside him.
Katrina looked at Albert, seemingly hesitant, but ultimately did not refuse.
The two strolled together down the quiet corridor.
"Are you angry because of what happened between me and Isobel?" Albert asked bluntly. Before he made his relationship with Isobel public, their relationship had always been quite good, but after learning about his relationship with Isobel, things turned out this way.
"No," Katrina said stubbornly. She regretted coming along; had she brought this trouble upon herself? "Isobel hid my relationship with her from me, but she gave up later," Albert said, stopping and looking at Katrina who was about to leave. "She cares about you and doesn't want you to get hurt."
"I suggest you have a good talk with her. Also, are we still friends?" Albert asked, watching Katrina's retreating figure.
The other person didn't answer, but simply walked away quickly.
"Sigh! Women, what troublesome creatures," Albert muttered under his breath. The mature Isobel was much more reassuring; both knew exactly what they needed and wanted, understood how to maintain their relationship, and never threw tantrums.
Perhaps it's because they are both Legilimens Master, making it easy for them to understand what the other is thinking! However, in Katrina, Albert saw one of the reasons why relationships between couples at Hogwarts never last.
After Katrina left, Albert took out his pocket watch, glanced at the time, and prepared to take advantage of this rare opportunity to wander around.
Anyway, after getting the Time-Turner back, I'm not worried about running out of time at all.
Just as they stepped out of the castle, they encountered Professor Sprout, who was carrying many bandages and seemed to be preparing to bandage the Whomping Willow.
"Good morning, Professor Sprout. Are you going to the Whomping Willow to treat your injuries?" Albert walked over quickly and greeted him.
"Good morning, Mr. Anderson." Professor Sprout looked at Albert who had suddenly appeared and said as he walked over, "At yesterday's banquet, Severus told me that Mr. Potter hit the Whomping Willow Whomping Willow with his car and caused serious damage to it."
"As far as I know, the Whomping Willow is very irritable. How do you plan to subdue it and treat it?" Albert asked, voicing his doubts. This was also the reason he came over to greet Professor Sprout.
"The Whomping Willow is indeed quite dangerous, especially if you encounter it in the wild. However, under normal circumstances, as long as you don't touch its branches, the Whomping Willow won't attack rashly," Professor Sprout casually explained. "Of course, if a wizard plants it, it will usually leave a noticeable scar, which can be used to subdue it."
Professor Sprout picked up a broken branch and poked at the knot on the trunk of the Whomping Willow, which immediately Whomping Willow.
"Can we use magic to subdue it?" Albert asked, expressing his doubts. "With Freezing Charm, or some other spell."
"Well, it's best not to do that. The Whomping Willow is a very precious and medicinal magical plant." Professor Sprout thought for a moment and replied, "It's already hard to find in ordinary places. Wizards who plant the Whomping Willow will leave those scars to subdue Whomping Willow."
"Alright, Mr. Anderson, could you please help me press down on the scabs and these bandages? And please also take care of this bucket. We need to hurry." Professor Sprout drew his wand and began to help prune the branches and collect the buds and branches of the Whomping Willow, all the while explaining the medicinal effects of these things to Albert, which could be considered an extra lesson.
Albert simply summarized it into one answer: the Whomping Willow is a treasure trove of resources.
