The Script in Motion

Everyone present turned to look at Snape. Their stares made him feel inexplicably agitated, but the feeling did not last long. The others soon looked away, completely ignoring him.

"Hagrid, don't just stand there like an idiot. Go find Dumbledore and tell him what happened here," Albert urged, turning his attention back to the still-dazed Hagrid.

"Oh, right, you..." Hagrid hesitated. In truth, he did not know what he ought to do right now. Reason told him to listen to Albert and find Dumbledore, but he was still worried about this place—worried about Harry's safety.

After hesitating for a moment, Hagrid suggested, "How about we all go to the Headmaster's Office to find Dumbledore together?"

"If you want Professor Lupin sent to Azkaban Prison, I don't object." Albert looked at Snape again. The man had clearly not brought the Wolfsbane Potion.

Lupin without the Wolfsbane Potion was extremely dangerous during the Full Moon. Albert had never underestimated the threat posed by a werewolf, much less risked his own future over one.

Noticing Hagrid's confused expression, Albert explained again, "Professor Lupin could turn into a werewolf at any moment. If he suddenly transformed inside the castle, you know what the consequences would be even without me spelling them out!"

Hagrid could not help shuddering. He realized that he had just made a very foolish suggestion. If Professor Lupin turned into a werewolf in the castle and bit other students, the consequences would be unthinkable.

"I'll go find Dumbledore right away." With that, Hagrid hurried toward the castle.

"Professor Snape, have you made up your mind?" Albert turned his gaze back to Snape. Seeing the hostile look the man was still giving him, he shrugged. "Fine, then. We'll wait for Professor Dumbledore to arrive and have him contact the Ministry of Magic."
