Over the weekend, the atmosphere of exams at Hogwarts Castle grew even heavier. Besides fifth year and seventh year students, students from the other years were also beginning to face their Final Exams.
Everyone was making the most of the last two days, working hard to review the key points mentioned in class.
But there were always exceptions.
After finishing the earlier exams, Fred, George, and Lee Jordan had become completely lethargic. They barely took Monday's Potions exam seriously. What they meant was clear: reviewing was out of the question.
The three clearly had no intention of attending Snape's Potions Class again.
In fact, it would be difficult for them to attend Snape's Potions Class next semester anyway.
Only students who earned an "Outstanding" on their O.W.L.s were qualified to continue into Snape's Advanced Class in Potions. Across all four Houses, there were only a handful of students capable of reaching that standard.
Fred, George, and Lee Jordan were quite pleased at the prospect of no longer having to see Snape's sour face in class. They also clearly knew that they had no chance of earning an Outstanding on their O.W.L.s.
Albert, on the other hand, was not worried at all. Having just won a Potions award, his skill in the subject far surpassed that of the other students in his year. The potions for the practical exam were selected from the Potions textbook, so there was absolutely nothing to worry about.
As for the written test, he had looked over papers from previous years beforehand and memorized the so-called key points. He did not think the Potions written exam would cause him any trouble.
