"Yesterday, you managed to slip away. Don't even think about running off today."
Having just finished breakfast and gotten to his feet to head for the Room of Requirement, Albert was promptly pressed back into his seat by Fred, George, and Lee Jordan. After yesterday's lesson, they would never let Albert out of their sight and dump the Wizard Card Competition on them.
"I have something important to do," Albert said.
"I think staying here to oversee the Wizard Card Competition is more important. Besides, you ought to make time to meet the Club's successor. Or do you want the Wizard Card Club to end with our year?" Lee Jordan stared fixedly at Albert.
At present, Wizard Card's popularity was still tied to Albert. Once Albert graduated from Hogwarts, the Wizard Card Club would inevitably decline sharply. When that happened, who at the school would still play Wizard Card? "Don't worry. Once I get the Activity Room sorted out, the Wizard Card Club will definitely continue to exist." Albert did not think the Wizard Card Club would vanish after his graduation. As long as the Club could organize competitions, bring people joy, and serve as a good place to make friends, it could keep going.
"Are you really planning to give that book to Professor McGonagall and have her pass it on to the next successor?" Fred asked with a frown. "Is that really necessary?"
"That way, we can make sure the book won't be lost or embezzled." Albert never minded judging others by the worst possible intentions. Besides, he was certain that without this safeguard, someone would absolutely pocket his book.
"What book?" Shanna asked curiously.
"A magical book. I haven't decided on a name for it yet," Albert explained. "As long as you open it, you can enter
