"It seemed Albert had been right."
In the room, Yanila, who was playing Wizard's Chess with Fleur, turned her head to look at the tall figure outside the window and quietly said to her opponent, "Madame Maxime really will do everything she can to help you find out what the first task is."
"You came to play Wizard's Chess with me in the middle of the night just to tell me this nonsense?" Fleur frowned deeply. Her gaze drifted toward the elaborately dressed Madame Maxime, and she could not help wondering what exactly Hogwarts' Hunting Grounds keeper had that could attract their headmistress. Could it be because of her that Madame Maxime had agreed to this date? "Of course not. I came to ask you for some information."
"What information?"
"Information about Albert?" After seeing Isobel in Hogsmeade, Yanila had suddenly realized how little she actually knew about Albert.
"I don't know much more about him than you do. I really don't understand why you like him. Is it just because he's handsome?" Fleur truly could not understand Yanila's fixation on Albert.
She admitted that Albert was handsome, talented, and famous, but Yanila herself was no less impressive than Albert—if anything, her circumstances were even better.
"Your taste in men is really terrible," Yanila mocked.
"Even if it is, it's still better than obsessing over another woman's man," Fleur shot back.
Fleur was a little annoyed, but she had to admit that Yanila's whole family had excellent taste. Their way of doing things, however, was truly objectionable.
"Go on. What do you want?" Yanila asked.
"I haven't thought of anything yet. I'll tell you when I do. Still, I don't think you'll be able to win him over." Fleur made no attempt to hide her delight at Yanila's misfortune as
