"Going back to school today?"
"Yeah, Christmas is tomorrow. I need to head back early."
Nia picked up the remote on the table and casually flipped through the channels. Distracted, she said, "You haven't forgotten to prepare a Christmas Gift for me, have you? You know, I've been looking forward to it."
"I've already got it ready for you." Albert smiled and reminded her, "Don't you like it too?"
"The photo album and the dragon?" Nia suddenly realized, then curled her lip. "So the few bottles of Beauty Potion Isobel brought were Christmas Gifts too."
"You can see it that way." Albert casually opened a packet of dried small fish for the cats. That was the Christmas Gift he had prepared for them: a huge bag of dried small fish.
"It just feels like a gift should be received on Christmas itself to really feel like a gift," Nia muttered.
"After Christmas, I should come back and stay for a while." Albert intended to spend more time with his family.
"You're making it sound like we won't see each other for ages." Nia fell silent after saying that. If they went to the Far East, they really would not see each other for a long time.
"Don't worry. In a few years, once Britain settles down, you can still move back." Albert had lost count of how many times he had said it.
"I'm worried about you." Nia turned to Isobel and said solemnly, "I'm leaving my unreliable brother to you. Don't let him do anything reckless."
"I'll keep a close eye on him." Isobel smiled.
After saying goodbye to everyone that afternoon, the two left one after the other and returned to their house in Hogsmeade.
"I really don't understand why you didn't just Apparate here with me." Isobel
