In the world of [Game], the ability to withstand damage was quantified through Health Points. In theory, even if someone desperately attacked another person's heels, they could eventually kill them.

But that did not mean the vital parts of the human body had become useless.

Under the rules of [Game], attacks to the torso dealt full damage, while attacks to the limbs were discounted. Generally speaking, the closer the hit landed to the extremities, the greater the reduction. On average, limb damage was roughly halved.
