"It disappeared... When did that happen?"
Everyone immediately began searching through the message logs and found that, when they had left the palace, there had indeed been a prompt they had overlooked. Put simply, once a challenge was interrupted, all items and equipment obtained from monsters in the lord's room would disappear. The next time they entered the lord's room, the monsters would refresh.
"Looks like when we go down again, we'll have to face that Lion Head Monster one more time..." Shi Lei frowned deeply. "This lord's mechanic seems to be that, as long as it hasn't been fully cleared, every attempt starts from scratch..."
"That's good news too." Georgia, a Peak-level expert from the Federation, smiled. "Though we can't accumulate results, we can accumulate experience. Since the outside world can forcibly interrupt the challenge once it's activated, as long as we experiment enough times, we'll eventually figure out their weaknesses."
"The problem is that once the challenge is interrupted, every monster, including the lord, revives and enters Rage Status," Thomas said. "If that masked man hadn't held them back, we probably wouldn't even have made it out of the main hall!"
"There are still too few of you." Harrison, the golden-bearded Peak-level expert from the Land of Exile, gave a cold snort. "If a large force went in, then even if they couldn't complete the challenge, they could still block the pursuit and retreat outside."
Kubal, the Peak-level expert from the Primitive Continent, nodded as well. "Looking at it that way, this floor isn't as difficult as we imagined."
"Don't let your guard down." The Ice Queen suddenly spoke.
"You've all experienced the difficulty of the previous floor. We were only responsible for clearing the Toad Progenitor's side. The process went smoothly, but it was far from easy.
