Background

Jiang Ping An was born a farmer in Spirit Terrace Kingdom. His parents were forced to their deaths by that kingdom, leaving him with a lasting hatred for it. As a child, he survived on food such as roasted grasshoppers and had not eaten rabbit meat for a long time. 2 51

His cultivation began after he acquired the Treasure Accumulation Basin. The artifact could initially duplicate one item tenfold once each day, allowing him to turn six copper coins into sixteen and later replicate Spirit Stones. He used the stones to open his first meridian and enter Qi Refining. 2 3

Li YueYue, whom he called Tiger Girl, was taken away to cultivate while he was still a village boy. The woman who took her left him the Detailed Explanation of the Thick Earth Breathing Technique and three Spirit Stones, but otherwise ignored him. Her departure left Jiang Ping An feeling that he had lost his home and his last close companion. 3

Jiang Ping An later fled military pursuit, defeated bandits and soldiers, acquired martial techniques from fallen enemies, and entered Great Xia's sphere of influence. Meng Kuo's protection and Xia Qing's resources gave him opportunities unavailable during his childhood, and he remained determined to repay those kindnesses. 5 17 35 51

Rather than follow a conventional route, Jiang Ping An developed a cultivation system centered on transforming acupoints and creating three hundred and sixty Primordial Spirits. The system gave him enormous energy reserves and parallel cultivation capacity, but it also made his path difficult for others to understand or imitate. 119 371 380

His unconventional path eventually imposed an additional requirement: to advance, he needed to kill an opponent one major realm above himself. This condition caused many potential masters to judge his future breakthroughs impossible, though Jiang Ping An continued walking the path regardless. 1226

The Treasure Accumulation Basin was later identified as a treasure left behind by the Ancient Emperor. When meeting Xuan Yuan ChaoGe, Jiang Ping An credited it with enabling his rise from a remote village to the Immortal Realm. 1128

Appearance

Jiang Ping An was initially a thin, undersized village boy with dark skin; Qi Refining made him taller and improved his complexion. 3 In later eras, he is commonly recognized by his white hair, plain white robes, restrained demeanor, and deep Purple-Golden Eyes. 1846 1867

  • Often wears simple white or dark robes rather than ornate clothing. He originally cared only that clothing covered his body, dressing more formally when Xia Qing's social obligations required it. 125 1867
  • Has a mature, broad-shouldered build developed through body cultivation. 237 802
  • His eyes are the source of several unusual perception and mental abilities. 15 224
  • His body was temporarily reshaped into that of a black-haired child after a breakthrough during baptism. 2371
  • In his adolescence, cultivation made him taller than Xia Qing, with a more mature voice and a straight, composed bearing. 144

Personality

Jiang Ping An is quiet, practical, and intensely self-reliant. He rarely boasts about his accomplishments, prioritizing cultivation, resources, and survival over recognition or status. Even after becoming an imperial son-in-law, a sect leader, and a renowned commander, he repeatedly chose personal advancement over political office. 131 520 831

He repays kindness with unusual seriousness. He gave the Fire Lotus Enlightenment Seed to Xia Qing rather than accept outside protection, continued supporting Great Xia and Wang Ren after becoming powerful, and protected allies such as Ye Wuqing despite the risks. 72 222 831

His compassion has limits. Jiang Ping An is willing to rescue prisoners, lend weapons to soldiers, and save comrades, but he is equally capable of calculated cruelty toward enemies who threaten his family or exploit his goodwill. 15 267 372 445

His defining trait is persistence. He repeatedly chooses dangerous, unconventional cultivation paths, endures extreme pain and punishment, and continues forward even when his talent, origin, or cultivation is damaged. 199 1038 1497 2307

He is also notably cautious about exposing his true circumstances. To protect his companions from God King pursuers, he faked his death, changed his appearance, and lived alone under the name Long Ping. 1888

Jiang Ping An actively seeks criticism of his cultivation and combat ability rather than assuming that victory proves him flawless. Early in his career, he asked his companions to identify his shortcomings and began addressing his mental defenses; much later, he similarly questioned a sparring projection about weaknesses in his combat. 95 2353

Despite walking the Invincible Road, he does not regard conflict or authority as ends in themselves. He prefers a quiet place to cultivate, and his later efforts are driven chiefly by protecting and reuniting with his family. Increased talent makes him more cautious rather than more arrogant, since he understands that valuable abilities attract powerful enemies. 1518 2291 2445

As a father, he combines protectiveness and sternness with encouragement. After Jiang MiaoYi won all three newcomer assessments, he praised her and told her not to put excessive pressure on herself, even as she insisted that she would eventually share his burdens. 2524

Abilities & Skills

Treasure Accumulation Basin

The Treasure Accumulation Basin is Jiang Ping An's foundational treasure and most important resource source.

  • Initially duplicates one type of item at a time, producing ten copies once per day. 2
  • Can replicate cultivation resources such as Spirit Stones, Foundation Establishment Pills, and rare pills. 3 38 48
  • Stores objects, corpses, resources, and dead animals, but cannot store living creatures. 6
  • Can be concealed within his body, unlike ordinary storage treasures. 17
  • Contains an artifact spirit that requires two supreme treasures to recover fully and warns Jiang Ping An of a future existential crisis. 461
  • Was left behind by the Ancient Emperor, whose aid Jiang Ping An acknowledged when recounting his rise to Xuan Yuan ChaoGe. 1128

Right Eye and Mental Power

Jiang Ping An's right eye grants abnormal perception that later develops into mental and spiritual abilities.

  • First manifested as telekinesis, allowing him to manipulate objects while imprisoned in the Great King Mountain stronghold. 15
  • Lets him perceive attacks, hidden enemies, and likely technique patterns before they are executed. 54 224 344
  • Assists his comprehension of Laws. 119
  • Awakened Mental Power after the eye's energy entered his sea of consciousness in Demon Rock Cave. 153
  • Enables mental telekinesis, soul attacks, interference with enemy Mental Power, and the control of projections. 153 448 561
  • His will and soul resistance remained exceptional even after becoming an Immortal, allowing him to quickly resist the influence of a True Immortal's thoughts. 1002
  • His later World Eye can inspect objects for overlooked treasures and reacted to an ancient painting in the Taiyi Treasure Pavilion. It also assists his rapid cultivation alongside Enlightenment Pills and Divine Dao Rule Books. 1607 1678

  • His Mental Power eventually became sufficient to envelop the entire Eastern Region without ordinary cultivators noticing his observation. 830
  • Refined Ming God's soul as nourishment, rapidly increasing his Soul Power and supporting further comprehension of the Primordial True Martial Scripture. 2221

Jiang Ping An can replicate techniques and use advanced mental visualization.

  • Replicated Nangong Shen's Wood God Clone and kept the full extent of his replication ability secret. 226
  • Uses Manifestation to recreate people and battles he has witnessed within his mind. 542
  • Can repeatedly simulate an opponent's techniques to identify weaknesses and accelerate comprehension. 542 561
  • Projection control can temporarily reproduce the power of deceased or observed cultivators. 448 519
  • Stronger projections consume more Mental Power and prevent him from using certain other mental techniques simultaneously. 519
  • Created an Illusionary Realm in which Lan Shi'er could experience battles and pursuits he had survived, improving her combat skills and reaction speed. 1413

Self-Created Cultivation System

Jiang Ping An abandoned ordinary Core Formation and developed a system based on acupoints, compressed energy, and multiple Primordial Spirits.

  • Compresses spiritual energy and blood qi into acupoints, greatly increasing his reserves. 114 119
  • Formed three hundred and sixty energy-filled acupoints, each comparable to a Golden Core-level reserve. 119
  • Created three hundred and sixty Primordial Spirits capable of cultivating in parallel. 371 380
  • Uses clones and incarnations to cultivate, fight, manage affairs, and conceal his true strength. 237 1096 2430
  • His cultivation path is difficult to reproduce and has repeatedly been considered nearly impossible by outside experts. 380 1226
  • His incarnations can contain large quantities of Source Stars; one revealed incarnation held eighty-three Source Stars and restored him to his peak state upon fusion. 1096
  • Hidden Universe Art and Heavenly Demon Nine Transformations are foundational techniques of his system. He cultivated numerous supporting arts to their highest levels below the immortal realms before continuing to study more advanced immortal techniques. 812
  • His breakthroughs can occur without external heavenly phenomena, even while his Inner World, Primordial Tree, Yin-Yang Divine Source, and Mental Power undergo major transformations. 1586
  • Splitting off more Origin Avatars reduces his main body's combat strength; replacing destroyed avatars costs time and resources. 1678
  • At the High Lord God breakthrough, he completed an exceptionally stable Dao Foundation using Primordial Power. The advancement required five years and approximately one hundred billion in resources for his main body. 2524
  • Upon entering the Void God Realm, the Primordial Qi within him transformed into the denser Primordial Power, strengthening the divine arts fueled by it. 2583

Physique and Divine Bodies

Jiang Ping An's body has undergone several major transformations.

  • Quasi-Saint Body — gained through Saint Body Blood and became one of the core reasons for his early physical strength. 161 197
  • Saint Demon Body — formed when Saint Body Bone fused with Demon Dragon Bone, turning his Battle Soul pitch-black. 327

  • Original Rules cultivation — allows him to absorb primordial power as nourishment rather than suffering the severe backlash experienced by ordinary cultivators. 2444 2445
  • Heaven Mending Art enhancements — repeatedly strengthen his body, origins, Divine Soul, and innate talent; the fifth enhancement fused Devouring Power with Yin Yang Power. 1631

  • Five Spirit Altar enhancement — completed two rounds of enhancement, increasing his physical strength fourfold and granting him a strand of Heavenly Dragon Power. 2445
  • Artifact-like body refinement — forged his skeletal body into an Earth Immortal-level Immortal Artifact and fought an Earth Immortal directly despite his damaged condition. 998
  • Adaptive resistance — prolonged exposure to a sparring projection's ice attacks caused his body to develop resistance, rendering ordinary lower Lord God attacks much less effective. 2353
  • Baptism enhancement — absorbed all the divine medicines in a newcomer baptism chamber, an amount even Void God experts could not ordinarily absorb. Together with his subsequent enhancements, this raised his talent to a level comparable to holy-land geniuses. 2445
  • High Lord God transformation — substantially strengthened his body, blood, soul, and overall foundation. He judged that he could now defeat Gongshu Ye without relying on his Origin Heavenly Dragon Clone. 2524

Limitless Fist

A counter-oriented fist technique that redirects and exhausts an opponent's force.

  • Reflects force greater than Jiang Ping An's own, as shown against Xiang Yang's Golden Staff. 54
  • Enables prolonged battles that drain opponents' spiritual energy and physical strength. 53
  • Can counter Law-imbued weapon attacks and protect Jiang Ping An against stronger opponents. 140
  • Has limits against overwhelming raw power or specialized abilities that bypass its counterforce. 395
  • Its associated Limitless Rule later began showing signs of merging with his Original Rules after he condensed his fifth Dao Fruit. 2466

Battle God Art / God of War Art

An offensive art Jiang chose because it was described as the world's strongest offensive technique.

  • Jiang Ping An mastered the first level in less than a month. 96
  • Can push him into a battle-crazed state that compromises control. 96
  • Later evolved into the God of War Art and includes the Divine Spirit Body secret art used to endure tribulation. 622 629
  • Divine Spirit Body, the fifth-layer secret technique, burns his stored energy to provide approximately ten breaths of near-absolute defense, though overwhelmingly powerful attacks can still breach it. 629

Movement, Domains, and Combat Arts

Jiang Ping An combines multiple top-tier techniques rather than relying on a single method.

  • Human Emperor Fist — a hidden offensive technique revealed during the Saint Tablet challenges, where it instantly defeated the third-ranked projection. 1225

  • Following his fifth Heaven Mending Art enhancement, his Devouring Power fused with Yin Yang Power and became substantially more potent. 1631

Jiang Ping An is an accomplished refining master who can improve or sabotage artifacts.

  • Can repair, strengthen, and create Immortal Artifacts, including upgrading the Suppression Immortal Tower. 409 831
  • Comprehended the second layer of the Weapon Enhancement Technique while enduring Punishment Mountain for thirty years, using it to strengthen his flesh, soul, and origins. 1038
  • The Weapon Enhancement Technique can also strengthen pills, immortal herbs, talismans, and living beings. He used it to stabilize an enemy's Ten Immortal Swords and prevent their planned self-destruction. 798 814
  • Can enhance talismans that are already active; one such enhancement raised an Extreme Speed Talisman's boost from tenfold to fifteenfold and extended its duration from three days to six. 1110
  • Applied two enhancement layers to a True Dragon Blood Essence Pill, increasing its medicinal effect by a total of one hundred percent and raising his physical strength to a level comparable to a True Immortal. 1162
  • His artifact-analysis skills impressed Ding ChiYan, who offered him a Refining Pavilion position. Jiang Ping An declined but accepted Black Jade containing an incomplete puppet blueprint. 1452
  • Created Puppet First Generation and implanted it with navigational and ship-operating memories so it could pilot his vessel while he cultivated. 1602
  • Used Heaven Mending Art to enhance a Third-Order Enlightenment Pill into a Fourth-Order Enlightenment Pill, doubling its effects. 1602
  • The fifth Heaven Mending Art enhancement doubled his physical strength and the divine power stored in his Yin-Yang Divine Source. According to the Fifth Main God's Crystal Ball, completing nine enhancements would raise his talent to the level of the Four Great Main Gods. 1631

  • Uses avatars, clones, and controlled bodies to fake his death or escape pursuit. 2090 2430

  • Used the Three Souls Spirit Art to control Cai Yuansong and disguise him as Jiang Ping An, redirecting an assassin's attack onto him. 1179
