• Jiang Ping An discovered that the Bronze Basin duplicated coins and spirit stones, then watched Li YueYue leave to cultivate after bandits destroyed their village.
• Jiang Ping An killed Yang Yuan, bandits, and soldiers who threatened him, then killed Cui Xiao after the commander’s forces accepted the bandits’ bribe and seized the village’s grain and farmland.
• Jiang Ping An escaped pursuit into the mountains, killed Xu Hao, and was captured and tortured by Yuan Bin, whose Blood-Colored Eye fused with Jiang Ping An and gave him a strange power.
• Jiang Ping An escaped Great King Mountain, killed Yuan Bin, and was rescued by Old Li before joining Meng Kuo’s military camp in Continuous Mountain County.

Jiang Ping An helped defeat Xu Tao’s forces, then traveled with Meng Jing to Black Wind City to compete for a place in the Hundred Counties Tournament. As the five-month mountain competition progressed, Jiang Ping An reached Foundation Establishment and mastered the first level of the Limitless Fist while Meng Jing awakened her Thunder Spirit Body.

• Jiang Ping An tamed Little White, then fought Ma Lin’s soldiers and helped Meng Kuo defeat Xu Tao’s army as farmers joined the battle.
• Xia Qing invited Jiang Ping An to the Hundred Counties Tournament and gave him cultivation resources and the Tyrant Body Art, which he painfully began to cultivate.
• Jiang Ping An and Meng Jing traveled to Black Wind City, where they killed Zhang Ling and his accomplices, defeated Xu Tao, and arrived at Xia Qing’s residence.
• Xia Qing gave Jiang Ping An the Limitless Fist and arranged for him and Meng Jing to compete for tournament spots on the thirty-level mountain.

He gained allies and valuable discoveries on the journey, then entered the Hundred Counties Tournament as its opening rounds were announced.

• At the Winter Solstice gathering, Ma Wei cast suspicion on Jiang Ping An’s origins, but Xia Qing defended him and encouraged the youths to prepare for the Quota Competition.
• Jiang Ping An climbed the Back Mountain trial by exhausting successive challengers, defeated Ma Wei with the Tyrant Body Art, and finished tenth in the selection while Meng Jing placed ninth.
• Jiang Ping An bought cultivation supplies and poisons, then killed Ma Wei with the Myriad Poison Seven Star Insect after Ma Wei watched him from a teahouse.
