As rival families threatened the Ye Family’s business, the clan secured a Blood Heart Pill and Ye Jingcheng began studying a new pill-refinement method during the shop’s closure.

  • Ye Jingcheng healed the Crimson Flame Fox with the Ancient Book, formed a Blood Pact with it, and learned that the book could reveal ways to improve exceptional Spirit Beasts.
  • Ye Jingcheng joined Ye Jingyu and Ye Jingyong on a hunt, where their group defeated Azure Cloud Wolves and Long-Eared Deer before sharing the spoils with the Ye Family.

  • Ye Jingcheng survived a rogue cultivator ambush with the Ye Family, earned the Beast Communication Mark, and discovered a seven-inch mark in his Ancient Book.

Ye Jingcheng advanced his alchemy and helped strengthen his Spirit Beasts before joining the Ye Family’s expedition into Jade Dragon Valley. The family obtained valuable treasures from a hidden cavern, then became caught in a deadly battle against a snake tide.

  • Ye Jingcheng studied the Four Aspects Heavenly Origin Scripture, learned from Ye Haiyun’s alchemy, and rebuilt his cultivation to Qi Training Stage 6.

The hunt becomes a battle with the Li Family, ending with the Ye Family taking Li Mu Valley and Ye Jingcheng uncovering valuable artifacts and techniques in the spoils.

  • The Ye Family won a greater share of Jade Dragon Valley’s mines and spirit fish after Ye Xingliu presented evidence that the Li Family had caused the Snake Ape Pill incident.
  • Ye Jingcheng traded for a Green Root Fruit, learned new pill formulas, advanced to Qi Training Stage 7, and formed a Beast Communication Mark with the Golden Scale Beast.
