Upon hearing this, Fuxi grew even more furious!

He had not expected the Three Pure Ones to do something and then refuse to admit it. He glared at them and shouted, "You dare do it but refuse to take responsibility! Clearly, one of you has betrayed my sister. Otherwise, why would my beautiful sister be unable to eat or sleep?"

Laozi frowned, his expression already showing some displeasure.

Although the Three Pure Ones had an excellent reputation in the Primordial World, they could not allow Fuxi to come barging in and make a scene!

Thus, Laozi advised, "Fellow Daoist Fuxi, we truly did not do such a thing. The Primordial World is so vast—why must you insist on troubling us Three Pure Ones?"

Fuxi was stunned and began to doubt himself as well. The Three Pure Ones indeed did not seem like the sort of people who would betray his sister!

However, Fuxi immediately continued to argue, "Hmph! I've already asked around at every major power in the entire Primordial World. Of course I came to you!"

The Three Pure Ones fell into another stunned silence.

Daoist Tongtian sighed and said helplessly, "Fellow Daoist Fuxi, we've known each other for so many years. If I had feelings for Fellow Daoist Nuwa, would I have waited until now?"

There was some truth to Daoist Tongtian's words, so Fuxi turned his gaze toward Primordial Heavenly Venerate.

Primordial Heavenly Venerate rubbed his forehead and said rather helplessly, "Fellow Daoist Fuxi, I haven't seen Fellow Daoist Nuwa for nearly thirty million years. What do you think?"

Fuxi was stunned. That seemed quite reasonable too.

Laozi looked at Fuxi, stroked his graying beard, and asked, "What do you think?"

Fuxi looked at the elderly Laozi, his expression turning awkward.

Laozi even thoughtfully comforted him, saying, "Fellow Daoist Fuxi, there's no need to worry too much. Perhaps this is a good thing for the Primordial World?"

Daoist Tongtian was very considerate. He patted Fuxi on the shoulder and said earnestly, "Fellow Daoist Fuxi, relax. It's only human nature~"

Primordial Heavenly Venerate also nodded in agreement. "Fellow Daoist Nuwa has already attained the status of a Saint. It's inevitable that she would feel empty and lonely. Fellow Daoist Fuxi, you should be more understanding!"
