Energy and Matter, Ugin's True Ability

Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, was currently the most mysterious and unfathomable of all known Planeswalkers.

Although he had suffered crushing defeats at the hands of his brother Nicol Bolas twice, both his abilities and his thoughts remained shrouded in mystery. He was one of the few powerful beings capable of interfering with, or even changing, the entire Multiverse.

His research into the Dark Void and void creatures in particular stood far above that of other Planeswalkers.

Although Raymond had briefly interacted with this Elder Dragon and had even obtained some knowledge from him regarding the sealing of the Eldrazi Titans, he had never been able to glimpse the other's true thoughts.

They were completely different from Nicol Bolas, who possessed clear goals and ambitions.

In many people's eyes, Ugin was a cold-blooded sage who would stop at nothing to achieve so-called "just" goals, even sacrificing others without hesitation.

He was also a rational monster who would never lose his composure due to emotion.

He rarely became angry over anything, not even when facing his brother Nicol Bolas, who had killed him twice.

It could even be said that Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, was the only Ancient Planeswalker Raymond could not see through, nor could he predict what Ugin might do next.

That was precisely why he remained extraordinarily vigilant and wary of this Elder Dragon.

So what exactly was Ugin's true purpose?

Was it to defeat Nicol Bolas and avenge his two deaths?

Or was it to seize the meditation realm woven from the brothers' intertwined minds and souls?
