Katsuyu possesses memories reaching back to the era of the Ten-Tails and the Sage of Six Paths. When Tsunade asks whether the Sage could have summoned the Ten-Tails, she distinguishes between remembered events and legends: she does not recall the beast being summoned after its appearance, but considers such a summoning theoretically possible with a contract 456.
