The four who had been lying down, upon waking, looked around with some confusion. The last thing they remembered was the tiger suddenly attacking them, knocking them out with a single blow, after which they had no idea what happened.
Ur quickly walked over and recounted everything that had just occurred. The expressions of the four gradually turned to shock. First, they looked at Allen and Laxus's figures, then at the tiger lying not far away, and then back at the two. Ur, annoyed by their current behavior, strode over and smacked each of them on the head.
"Hey, hey, hey, stop hitting us, stop! Uncle Ur! We know we were wrong!"
After a bit of a commotion, Ur led the four to once again express their gratitude to Allen and Laxus. "Thank you for your help, young masters Allen and Laxus. Let me introduce you. This is Keibel Coolidge, our guild master's grandson. Beside him are Doc Curry, Rudy Lake, and Leni Zeller. All four are descendants of our guild's founding members. I originally planned to bring them along to experience what it's like to take on guild tasks, but I never expected this to happen. Thanks to your help, or I wouldn't have the face to go back and face everyone."
Keibel looked to be about fifteen or sixteen, with a somewhat slender build. His golden hair, dazzling under the sunlight, now appeared slightly disheveled, casually falling over his forehead, adding a touch of roguish charm. His fair face was dotted with faint freckles, giving his already handsome features more character. Overall, despite his thin frame, Keibel was still a good-looking young man.
Doc's overall appearance was similar to Keibel's, the only difference being that his golden hair was cut into a neat, short buzz cut, making him look more spirited and clean-cut.
As for Rudy, he was the most robust of the four. Though young, his solid muscles already strained against his clothes, as if they might burst free at any moment. From the fact that he had the most severe injuries, it was easy to guess that when danger struck, he had stepped forward to shield the other three. If not for his bravery, the others would likely have been much worse off.
Finally, there was Leni. This young girl had striking red hair, as if hinting at her lively personality. At that moment, her bright, big eyes sparkled, fixed firmly on Allen and Laxus, filled with curiosity and excitement.
Looking at these four individually, each had their own unique charm and style: Keibel's handsomeness carried a hint of cleverness; Doc's neatness showed decisiveness; Rudy's strength embodied courage; Leni's beauty radiated liveliness. Yet, when they stood together, for some reason, a simple, honest aura naturally spread around them, leaving one somewhat puzzled.
After a round of brief introductions, the atmosphere gradually became relaxed and cheerful. At this point, Leni, unable to contain her excitement, sincerely invited Allen, "Brother Allen, can I call you that? Thanks to your help this time, we managed to escape danger. To express our sincere gratitude, would you be willing to come back to the guild with us? We'd like to hold a banquet for you, is that okay?"
Hearing Leni's words, Allen instinctively wanted to politely decline. However, before he could speak, Laxus, as if having planned it all along, quickly cut in and loudly replied, "Sure! No problem at all! I'm the biggest fan of banquets!" After saying this, Laxus mischievously leaned down and whispered in Allen's ear, "Big brother, think about it—making new friends is also a rare opportunity for experience. Besides, from how they've acted, these people clearly aren't bad guys, right?"
Allen looked at the excited Laxus and couldn't help but shake his head helplessly, but ultimately relented with a nod and a wry smile. "Alright, since you've already said so..."
Upon receiving Allen's affirmative answer, Keibel and the others immediately cheered and jumped for joy, their happiness evident.
Then, under Ur's orderly direction, everyone got to work. They first found an extremely thick branch and, working together, securely tied the subdued tiger to it. Keibel and the four steadied themselves, lifted the heavy branch together, and slowly began walking toward Onibas. Meanwhile, Ur, walking at the back of the group, enthusiastically introduced Allen to the various aspects of their guild.
By the time everyone entered Onibas, it was already evening. The Wild Cat's Eye guild was located not far from the city gate of Onibas.
As Allen and Laxus drew closer, the guild's base that came into view was merely a two-story tavern. The building looked a bit old but exuded a unique warmth.
The two slowly walked through the door. Once inside, they were surprised to find that this so-called guild had only a dozen or so members.
At that moment, Keibel stood in the center of the spacious hall, excitedly recounting the thrilling events that had just occurred, while the other members sat around, occasionally letting out gasps of surprise.
Just then, a few elderly men slowly approached Allen and the others. Ur quickly introduced them to Allen:
The old man at the front had a kind face but deep eyes. He was the guild master of Wild Cat's Eye—Bexley Coolidge, also Keibel's grandfather. Flanking Bexley Coolidge were Damon Curry and Uriel Lake, the grandfathers of Doc and Rudy respectively.
Allen and Laxus looked at the three elderly men before them, a hint of confusion in their eyes. Ur seemed to sense what they were thinking and explained, "Leni's elders unfortunately passed away while carrying out a difficult mission, leaving her all alone. Because of that, she has become the treasure of our entire guild." After saying this, Ur sighed softly, his gaze shifting to Leni, who stood quietly not far away, his eyes full of affection.
Bexley then stepped forward and gave Allen and Laxus a hearty hug, followed by Damon and Uriel doing the same. Then, with some emotion, Bexley said to the two, "Young masters, we are truly grateful for your help today. Keibel and the other three are the last of the new generation in our Wild Cat's Eye. If something had happened to them, we wouldn't have known what to do. Thank goodness for you!" Damon and Uriel, their eyes red, also looked at the two with emotion.
Without waiting for Allen or Laxus to respond, Bexley directly stood on a table in the hall and shouted excitedly, "To welcome and thank young masters Allen and Laxus, let's start the banquet!!!"
