Because of the demon's appearance, Allen and the Black Robed Figures were forced to stop fighting. Allen hurried over to check on Laxus, while the Black Robed Figures didn't stop him, merely standing where they were and laughing smugly. "The great Theodore has descended! This is only the beginning. The entire world will eventually belong to the great Lord Zeref!!!"
Allen had no time to pay attention to what the Black Robed Figures were saying. By the time he rushed to the altar, Laxus had already gotten back to his feet. His face was slightly pale, but his gaze remained firm. He shouted at Allen, who was running toward him, "Big brother, don't worry. I'm fine! That was just an accident, but... this demon might really be a little difficult to deal with." After rushing over and confirming that Laxus was indeed uninjured, Allen's tightly wound nerves finally relaxed a little.
After catching his breath, Allen slowly raised his head and turned his solemn gaze toward the horrifying demon in the distance.
Theodore was tall and radiated an intense aura of evil. Most eye-catching of all was its enormous head, which occupied nearly one-third of its entire body! Its forehead was unusually broad, and a pair of sharp, gleaming horns curved backward from the top of its head, like two blades capable of tearing through anything with ease. Its eyes were even more terrifying. The entire eye sockets were a deep blood red, yet there were no pupils within them. An ordinary person might have felt as though they could see an endless abyss inside those sockets.
Looking downward, its limbs were thick and sturdy, and its entire body was covered in hard scales. Sharp claws grew from the tips of its fingers and toes. A pair of enormous wings sprouted from its back, covered in barbs. Even merely standing there and gently flapping them kicked up clouds of dust. The other most striking feature was the huge bone hammer at the end of its tail. From the sound it made as it swung, it was clearly no ordinary weapon. Anyone with even slightly weaker defenses probably wouldn't be able to withstand a single blow from it.
Theodore also noticed Allen and Laxus before it. Its voice was low and hoarse as it looked at the two of them with a sinister laugh. "Heh heh heh, the magic power of you two little brats looks quite delicious. Are you ready to face death?!"
Demons truly lived up to their reputation for cunning. The instant its voice fell, it reached out and grabbed at Allen and Laxus.
Both of them had raised their vigilance to its highest level, so the moment the demon moved, they swiftly dodged in opposite directions and launched counterattacks at Theodore.
Allen held Gram steady, aiming it directly at Theodore. Magic power surged into the spear's shaft like a roaring tide, causing the entire weapon to shine with dazzling radiance. However, time was too short for Allen to make any further preparations, so he controlled Gram and thrust it forward without hesitation.
"Royal Spear Strike!"
In an instant, a dazzling beam of light shot from Gram's tip like an arrow loosed from a bow, speeding toward Theodore with astonishing force. At the same moment, Laxus, standing on the other side, launched a fierce counterattack of his own.
He parted his lips slightly and drew in a deep breath before releasing it with all his strength. "Roar of the Thunder Dragon!" Immediately afterward, a massive beam of lightning, as imposing as a dragon surging from the sea, erupted from Laxus's mouth and charged toward Theodore with an aura of destruction.

Allen and Laxus's attacks struck Theodore almost simultaneously. The immense forces contained within them collided and intertwined, erupting into an extremely violent energy storm.
Theodore clearly hadn't expected the attacks from these two seemingly insignificant "insects" to possess such terrifying power. Under the impact of that unmatched, berserk force, its enormous body was as fragile as paper. It was instantly pierced through by the combined attack, while the tremendous impact sent its mountain-like body flying dozens of meters away. The ground exploded along its path, and billowing smoke and dust blotted out the sky.
The Black Robed Figures in the distance were already stunned. They couldn't believe that the legendary Theodore had been so helpless. Their eyes darted around as they realized that they had no choice but to flee. If they stayed, Allen and Laxus would capture them. Thus, while Allen and Laxus weren't paying attention, the Black Robed Figures quietly escaped.
Just as the Black Robed Figures had expected, Allen and Laxus were indeed not watching them at that moment. Both stared solemnly at the place where Theodore had fallen. Although it was shrouded in smoke, they both knew that an attack like this was not enough to defeat the demon created by the legendary Zeref.

However, Allen and Laxus had been prepared and were already on full alert. Their reactions were extremely swift, and both dodged the attack with ease.
The Demon's Breath raced straight ahead like a runaway wild horse, piercing through the solid wall of the base. Not only that, it also tore a crack through the Magic Circle surrounding the base, which had originally concealed it, under the impact of that tremendous force. As a result, the entire Magic Circle instantly lost its effectiveness, and the base that had been hidden within it was exposed without any cover.
The battle had already left the base struggling to hold together. Now that it had suffered another fierce attack, the ceiling finally gave way and began collapsing in huge chunks.
Allen and Laxus paid little attention to the situation, because Theodore was charging toward them with agility and speed completely at odds with its massive body.
"Demonic Ice Blades!"
Silver-white light now clung to the claws on Theodore's fingers. As they sliced through the air, they even left behind traces of frost.
All ten claws attacked the two of them at astonishing speed. Allen could still handle the assault, but Laxus was in danger. His physical strength was far inferior to Theodore's, so he could only keep dodging. When he truly couldn't evade an attack, he resisted it with the aid of the Lightning Battle Suit.
After seeing Laxus come close to being injured several times, Allen raised Aegis in front of him and charged straight into Theodore.
Theodore was knocked back several steps by the sudden collision. Allen seized that moment and activated his Full Body Reception magic.
