Asmodeus Dies!

Just as Royal Spear Strike was about to fire, Asmodeus suddenly raised his head, his eyes gleaming with an eerie light.

Allen, who met Asmodeus's gaze, suddenly lost focus and plummeted straight from the sky. As a result, Royal Spear Strike failed to fire.

However, perhaps because the initial current was not strong enough, Allen's body merely trembled slightly before sinking back into silence, showing no sign of waking.

Laxus's heart sank at the sight, but he did not give up. Instead, he gritted his teeth and increased the current coursing through his body. This time, a powerful current that made one's heart tremble suddenly erupted. Its might was enough to electrocute a robust bull to death on the spot!

As the terrifying current flowed through Allen's body without restraint, a muffled groan sounded. Allen, whose eyes had been tightly shut, finally opened them slowly and regained consciousness.

After such intense stimulation, Allen blinked blankly a few times before gradually coming to his senses and realizing where he was. When he turned his head, he immediately saw Asmodeus's lethal attack just inches away. Its fierce momentum seemed ready to swallow them completely in the next instant.

"Laxus, put me down! I'm awake!" Allen shouted as he patted Laxus on the shoulder.

Hearing Allen's voice, Laxus immediately relaxed and hurriedly released one arm that had been holding Allen firmly in place.

Although Allen had only just awakened, he still managed to stabilize himself in midair through his powerful bodily control and agility.

With no time to say anything else, Allen took Ultear from Laxus's arms and continued carrying her on his back.

At that moment, a Touch of Destruction was about to strike them. Allen instantly activated Full Body Reception and used Aegis to block it.

They eventually linked together, forming a ring that surrounded Allen.

Once the magic lines had completed the circle, dark magic erupted from underground like black flames. With an aura that seemed capable of devouring everything, it attempted to gradually envelop Allen completely.

Allen knew he could not let the dark magic cover him, so he tried to escape before it was complete.

However, Asmodeus ignored Laxus's fierce attacks, paying no heed to its own safety as it focused entirely on preventing Allen from escaping the ring. It continuously released Touch of Destruction toward Allen, wave after wave of black energy raining down like a dense barrage of arrows.

Just as Allen was about to be completely enveloped by the dark magic, Laxus, who had been attacking Asmodeus's body, keenly sensed his predicament. He immediately changed targets, abandoning his assault on Asmodeus's main body and concentrating his strength on the Touch of Destruction rushing toward Allen.

With a deafening roar, Laxus unleashed the Roar of the Thunder Dragon that resounded across the sky. A dazzling bolt of lightning suddenly burst forth and transformed into an incomparably mighty thunder dragon, which charged ferociously at the Touch of Destruction. The two collided in midair with a thunderous boom. The Roar of the Thunder Dragon swallowed the Touch of Destruction above Allen, creating a brief opening.

Allen seized the opportunity. His figure flashed as he sprang up like an arrow loosed from a bow, agilely leaping out of the dark magic's encirclement.

Afterward, he did not dare pause for even a moment and continued closing in on Asmodeus at top speed.

Seeing Allen approach again, Asmodeus opened its enormous maw and unleashed a breath attack. Allen immediately moved in a zigzag, using his agility to dodge the breath while rapidly drawing closer to Asmodeus.

On the other side, after seeing that Asmodeus's hatred had been completely drawn toward Allen, Laxus also quickly approached its body from another angle.

Yet Laxus showed no intention of stopping. He clenched his teeth and continuously poured his magic power into the attack. With his full strength behind it, the pillar of lightning became even more violent and ferocious, suppressing Asmodeus completely.

Gradually, Asmodeus's howls weakened. Its body, which had still been struggling to resist, grew more and more powerless. In the end, its head could no longer hold itself up. It drooped uncontrollably and slammed heavily into the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

After completing the attack, Laxus plummeted from the sky as if all his strength had left him. Just as he was about to hit the ground, Allen reacted swiftly and rushed over to support him.

"Not bad, Laxus! That Dragon Slayer Secret Art was amazing! Let's show them the power of a Dragon Slayer Mage!" Allen said excitedly.

Hearing Allen's praise, Laxus, who had broken through his own limits, managed only a weak smile. Too exhausted to reply, he looked disheveled, but his eyes revealed unprecedented confidence and determination.

Afterward, Allen did not bother checking whether Asmodeus was truly dead. Just as he had dealt with the previous demon, he plunged Gram directly into its head and stirred until the skull was pulverized. In a corner Allen failed to notice, a stream of data flowed from Asmodeus's body into the space where LordKnightmon resided.

After Allen used Time Rewind on Laxus, restoring his condition, Laxus finally became fit to continue fighting.

The two sensed along the way that Deliora was fighting someone else. They immediately sped up, wanting to see what exactly was happening on that battlefield.
