After sensing a time disturbance linked to four hundred years ago, Allen mobilized the world to prepare for an invasion through the Eclipse Gate. The Ankhseram God opened the gate and began bringing its upgraded dragon army into the present.

• Ultear sensed a temporal disturbance while studying with Dialga, who warned her that it was connected to four hundred years ago.
• Allen alerted the world and ordered civilians and lower-ranked wizards to evacuate while powerful wizards prepared to delay the enemy.
• Natsu and the others flew out with the Dragon Kings as they prepared to meet the approaching dragons.
• The Ankhseram God revealed that it had destroyed the coexistence faction and upgraded the war faction's dragons and powerful Magic Beasts.
• The Ankhseram God completed the Eclipse Gate, and the first evil dragon began emerging from it.

Allen led the Fairy Tail forces toward the sea to confront the Ankhseram God and an overwhelming army of Dragons and other enemies. He opened the battle with a powerful blast aimed at the Eclipse Gate, destroying it and dozens of Dragons, and then saw the Ankhseram God's current form.

• Allen sensed the enemy gathering over the sea and led the S-Class Mages and other allies toward it.
• Allen counted Acnologia, fifty-eight Dragon Kings, and more than five hundred powerful enemies, then assigned Laxus to stall Acnologia and ordered the others to fight in groups of three.
• Allen and his allies entered their battle forms, and Allen fired Pure Land of Bliss at the Eclipse Gate.
• The Ankhseram God dodged the blast and ordered the Dragons to evade, but the beam vaporized some Dragons before striking the Eclipse Gate.

Allen pursued the Ankhseram God’s clone into the sky as Fairy Tail and its allies fought the militant Dragon Kings below. Erza activated Allen’s Magic Circle, allowing Dragon Emperor Exath to enter the battle and disrupt the enemy forces.

• Allen and the Ankhseram God flew toward the atmosphere and began fighting after exchanging taunts.
• Laxus struck the charging Acnologia and the dragon forces with Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Heavenly Thunder Array, while the Fairy Tail fighters spread out to face their opponents.
• Igneel and the other allied Dragon Kings engaged the militant Dragon Kings, and Natsu’s group joined forces against Tethys, Voltec, and Selphon.
• Erza activated Allen’s Magic Circle as twenty-seven militant Dragon Kings threatened the Fairy Tail mages.
• Dragon Emperor Exath’s roar suppressed the militant dragons, giving Igneel the chance to tear off Ignios’s wing and Zeref the chance to kill two dragons.

The Dragon Emperor appeared on the battlefield and devastated the militant dragons, shifting the battle in Fairy Tail’s favor before his time ran out. With most enemies defeated, only Acnologia and Laxus, and Allen and the Ankhseram God, remained fighting as the Ankhseram God hinted that another threat had arrived.

• The Dragon Emperor emerged from the Magic Circle and charged at the twenty-seven militant Dragon Kings, overwhelming them with his pressure.
• The Dragon Emperor used Dragon Emperor's Radiance twice, killing dozens of dragons and then wiping out many more Ten Saints-level dragons before dispersing.
• The Dragon Emperor’s attacks left the militant faction with fewer than one hundred of its original five hundred giant dragons, while Acnologia and several Dragon Kings remained severely engaged or injured.
• Fairy Tail’s mages and their allies took advantage of the dragons’ fear, defeated their remaining opponents, and Zeref killed the three giant dragons opposing him.
• Allen dodged the Ankhseram God’s attack and taunted him, but the Ankhseram God called the battle an appetizer and pointed out that something had arrived.

Ultear recognized that the Magic Circle beneath them could resurrect the Dragon race they had just killed, and Gildarts's attack could not break its barrier. After Laxus and Acnologia fell into the circle, the dragons emerged again, with Acnologia leading them.

• Ultear recognized familiar patterns in the Magic Circle and warned that the enemy was about to return.
• The Dragon Kings' roars came from the circle, and Ultear explained that it could revive the dragons they had just killed.
• Gildarts attacked the circle with Crushing Magic, but its barrier blocked him, so Ultear asked the healers to restore the group.
• Acnologia and Laxus fell from the sky; Acnologia plunged into the circle while Sorano and Yukino began healing Laxus.
• Laxus recalled how he had seriously injured Acnologia, but warned that Acnologia had entered the circle before he could finish it.
• Acnologia and the Dragon race emerged from the Magic Circle again.

Sorano and Yukino evolved Machinedramon and WereGarurumon into WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon as Laxus turned to fight the other Dragon Kings. WarGreymon attacked Acnologia, who used two Dragon Kings as shields, and tore through half the dragon horde before the battle continued.

• Sorano told Laxus that Allen had prepared Machinedramon to fight Acnologia and urged him to take on the other Dragon Kings.
• Sorano and Yukino used the collected Digital Souls to evolve Machinedramon into WarGreymon and WereGarurumon into MetalGarurumon.
• WarGreyman launched a Great Tornado toward Acnologia, which tried to escape before throwing two Dragon Kings into its path.
• The two Dragon Kings fired magic beams at WarGreyman, but the Great Tornado absorbed them and tore the dragons apart.
• WarGreymon swept through the dragon horde, reducing its numbers by half, then shouted that the battle was awesome.

Ankhseram God revealed that it had opened three more Eclipse Gates across the continents, then vanished as Allen rushed to respond. After WarGreymon blasted Acnologia into a spatial rift, Allen repaired the damage and split the group up to confront the new threat.

• Ankhseram God revealed that it had opened an Eclipse Gate on each of the three continents and disappeared before Allen could pursue it.
• Allen called WarGreymon away from Acnologia, but WarGreymon hurled Gaia Force at the wounded dragon and blasted it into a spatial rift.
• Allen forced most of the ominous energy escaping the rift back inside and repaired the breach, then scolded WarGreymon for causing another problem.
• WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon reverted to Koromon and a unicorn, and Allen reassured Sorano and Yukino that they would soon reach their Ultimate-level forms.

Fairy Tail headed for Ishgar’s Eclipse Gate after learning that Vorlod Shinken had stayed behind to watch the Dragon horde. Vorlod spotted the controlled Precht among more than a thousand dragons, and Mavis asked him for more details as Allen’s group approached.

• Yajima told Makarov that Vorlod had diverted the support troops to evacuate nearby cities after sensing the Eclipse Gate opening.
• Allen sent Makarov back to the guild and led the others toward the Eclipse Gate, promising to do what he could to protect Vorlod.
• Vorlod concealed himself in the forest and watched more than a thousand dragons emerge, including over a dozen Dragon Kings.
• Vorlod recognized Precht among the dragons and suspected Ankhseram God had controlled him because he moved stiffly and stared blankly.
• Allen contacted Vorlod, who reported the dragons and Precht’s condition, and Mavis took the communicator to ask what else was abnormal about Precht.

Mavis and the others reached Vorlod and found Precht unconscious near the Eclipse Gate, while a horde of dragons gathered overhead. Allen divided the mages to fight the dragons and confronted Precht, as Machinedramon and WereGarurumon began evolving after absorbing dragon data.

• Vorlod told Mavis that Precht showed no external injuries but remained unconscious, and Mavis flew with the others to his location.
• Allen ordered Yajima to evacuate the nearby town, take command of the troops, and prepare reinforcements.
• Allen sensed that the dragons were weaker than Acnologia and suspected Ankhseram God had tampered with Precht, so he took responsibility for waking him while assigning teams to fight the dragons.
• Precht opened his eyes to reveal empty black sockets as Allen charged toward him, and the dragons surged from the Eclipse Gate.
• Allen killed more than a hundred dragons with Victory Spear Strike, allowing Koromon and Unicorn to evolve into Machinedramon and WereGarurumon.

Allen charged Precht, but Precht trapped them both in a miniature Eclipse Gate and they vanished. Mavis rallied the others, who annihilated the invading dragons, while Laxus killed the three surviving Dragon Kings.

• Allen attacked Precht, shattered his dark chains, and grabbed him by the throat.
• Precht activated a miniature Eclipse Gate, pulling himself and Allen through it as their allies watched in alarm.
• Mavis calmed the group and urged them to defeat the dragons before searching for Allen.
• Laxus, WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, and the other mages unleashed their ultimate attacks, killing the Ten Saints and freezing or destroying most of the dragon horde.
• The three surviving Dragon Kings begged Laxus to spare them and offered to become his subordinates.

Allen arrived four hundred years in the past, in Year X360, and began searching for Precht. The chapter ended with Allen locating Precht inside a tavern in Starfall Town.

• Allen awoke alone in a woodland and learned from a villager that he had been sent back to Year X360.
• Allen gave the impoverished villager a wild boar and learned the way to Starfall Town.
• Allen followed the magical mark to Starfall Town and disguised himself before entering.
• Allen spotted a wanted poster bearing Precht's likeness and sensed that Precht was inside a tavern.
• Allen entered the tavern to find Precht.

Allen found Precht in a tavern and persuaded him to return after revealing that Mavis had been revived. After removing Ankhseram God's mental power from Precht, Allen prepared to take him back to the future.

• Allen asked Precht to come with him, but Precht initially refused until Allen told him Mavis had been revived.
• Precht agreed to follow Allen, and he explained that the town had wanted him for killing a horse with a glance after the mayor's son tried to trample him.
• In the woods, Allen detected Ankhseram God's mental power hidden in Precht's consciousness.
• Allen annihilated the foreign mental power, causing Precht intense pain, then said they needed to return four hundred years to the future.

Allen used Dialga to return himself and Precht to their original timeline, where they learned that several days had passed and Fairy Tail’s forces had gone missing in Alakitasia. After Yajima reported Gildarts’s fall and the loss of contact with Laxus and Makarov, Allen set out to investigate.

• Allen summoned Dialga, who opened a space-time gate that carried Allen and Precht back to their devastated valley.
• Allen failed to reach Laxus and Ultear, then contacted Lisanna, who said Laxus had led Fairy Tail’s forces away and Makarov had later left as well.
• Allen called Yajima and learned that Gildarts had fallen, more than half of Alakitasia had been lost, and Laxus’s group was missing.
• Yajima told Allen that Makarov had entered Alakitasia after hearing of Gildarts’s fall and had not been heard from since.
• Allen told Yajima he would go to Alakitasia to find out what had happened.

Allen and Precht returned to Albares and learned that Zeref, August, and Irene had been fighting a devastating dragon invasion. Allen reached the frontline command center, where he planned to restore Zeref and told August to reassure Irene while he searched for their guildmates.

• Allen and Precht flew to Albares, where August reported that dragons had attacked the empire and left Zeref and the defenders badly injured.
• August explained that Acnologia and the Ankhseram God had joined the battle, and that he had rescued Zeref just before Acnologia struck him.
• Allen and Precht reached the frontline command center and found the camp’s forces gravely wounded and Zeref unconscious.
• Allen told August that Zeref had exhausted his magic and detonated his Second Magic Source, then asked Invel to gather supplies for a restorative Magic Circle.
• Allen asked August to tell Irene that he had returned to find their guildmates and that the situation could still be salvaged.

Allen healed the camp and spent seven hours restoring Zeref’s Second Magic Source, allowing Zeref to awaken. After learning that Mavis, Natsu, Erza, and the other Fairy Tail mages had gone missing, Zeref lost control of his magic, while Precht explained how the Ankhseram God had controlled him and said he wanted to atone.

• Allen activated a healing Magic Circle, restoring the wounded soldiers and improving Zeref’s condition.
• Allen repaired Zeref’s Second Magic Source, and Zeref awakened after seven hours.
• August helped Zeref sit up and explained what had happened while he was unconscious.
• Zeref lost control of his magic after learning that Mavis, Natsu, Erza, and the Fairy Tail mages who had supported Gildarts had gone missing.

Allen led Zeref, August, Irene, and Precht toward the Dragon race’s camp before the Ishgar reinforcements arrived. As Acnologia ordered the dragons to attack humanity, Allen’s red beam opened a black hole that began swallowing the assembled Dragon Kings and their forces.

• Allen woke after four hours and refused to wait for the Ishgar reinforcements, setting out for the Dragon race’s camp with Zeref, August, Irene, and Precht while Invel led the main force behind them.
• At the Dragon race’s camp, the Dragon Kings argued over whether to attack the humans immediately or weaken Albares gradually.
• Acnologia ordered the Dragon Kings to mobilize and exterminate the humans on Alakitasia, then hurled Verdora into a rock wall when she questioned his authority.
• Allen’s red beam struck the camp, creating a black hole that sucked hundreds of Dragon Kings and tens of thousands of dragons toward Chaos.

Allen returned and devastated the Dragon race, then left Zeref to hunt down Acnologia while Irene, August, and the Albares army finished off the remaining dragons. Zeref pursued the wounded Acnologia above the clouds, declaring that the Dragon race would become extinct that day.

• Allen's Royal Spear Strike split the Dragon camp with a deep canyon, killing hundreds of dragons as the survivors fled in panic.
• Allen left Acnologia and the remaining dragons to Zeref, then flew away after receiving a message from the Ankhseram God.
• Irene attacked the dragons in a fury over Erza, while August killed fleeing Dragon Kings and tried to keep Irene alive.

• Acnologia attacked Zeref with Death Wing and Final Dragon Breath, but Zeref evaded the first attack and warped the breath back at him.

Zeref killed Acnologia with Space Magic but was left badly injured and recovering from its backlash. Allen entered the Ankhseram God's domain and found the Fairy Tail S-Class Mages under its control, where the god challenged him to defeat his friends first.

• Zeref used Void Slash to split Acnologia in two, killing him.
• August and Irene arrived, and Zeref told them that the fight's outcome now depended on Allen.
• Zeref explained that Palkia had taught him Space Magic, whose backlash left him unable to control his body while he recovered.
• Allen entered the Ankhseram God's domain and followed the god's trail through its chaotic interior.
• Allen found Laxus, Mavis, and the other Fairy Tail S-Class Mages controlled by the Ankhseram God, which challenged him to defeat them.

Allen summoned the Royal Knights to fight the Ankhseram God and free the controlled Fairy Tail mages. As the battle began, Erza resisted the god’s control and formed a Dragon King Sword, ready to fight him again.

• Allen summoned the Royal Knights through twelve pillars of light, and Dragon Emperor Exath’s roar weakened the Ankhseram God’s control over the mages.
• Laxus regained some of his consciousness and apologized to Allen, while Omegamon assigned the Royal Knights to suppress the mages and restore their minds.

Erza defeated the Ankhseram God’s hold over her with Gankoomon’s help, and the Royal Knights freed everyone before withdrawing. Allen transformed into Chaosdramon X Crimson Lotus Form and impaled the Ankhseram God with Gungnir, but the god still appeared ready to fight.

• Gankoomon used Blazing Fire to suppress the Ankhseram God in Erza’s consciousness, allowing Erza to destroy it with Total Deletion.
• Erza awoke to find the Royal Knights and learned that everyone had escaped the Ankhseram God’s control, though the knights were fading because they lacked power in this world.
• Omegamon told the Fairy Tail wizards that the Royal Knights’ mission was complete, then the knights returned to Allen through the Digi-Crisis emblem.

After Fairy Tail helped the Gildarts Continent’s survivors rebuild, Allen heard a desperate girl’s call from another world and left to save her. In Fuyuki City, Sakura Tohsaka met an armored man who asked if she was his Master, while Golden Flash sensed another god’s arrival.

• Allen reunited with Horst and learned that only about two hundred thousand people had survived on the Gildarts Continent after the Ankhseram God incapacitated the defenders and trapped them in chaotic space.
