Seeing Count Lloyd about to bow and salute him, Victor quickly grabbed the old count by the hand. "Count Lloyd, please don't do this. I came to support the Iron Vine Family under Count Colt's orders. I don't deserve such courtesy from you."

The old count shook his head. "That's a different matter entirely. All I know is that if Colt had sent anyone else, Ironwire City would probably have fallen, and I would have died!

And don't call me Count. Just call me Lloyd!"

"That won't do. You are Alex's future father-in-law and Lenster's father. They are both my friends, so you are naturally my elder. I cannot address you without proper respect!"

The two began arguing without giving an inch. The old man insisted on saluting and thanking him, while the younger man desperately tried to stop him. No one else could get a word in.

It was only when the young noblewoman spoke that she stopped them both. "Father, your body has only just recovered. You should be more careful. You don't want Mother and the rest of us to keep worrying about you, do you?"

Then the young woman smiled and introduced herself to Victor. "Viscount Victor, I am Dais Ironvine. It is a pleasure to meet you."

Victor hurriedly returned the salute. "Hello, Miss Dais!"

At that moment, Lenster behind her added, "Dais is my fourth sister. She and my third sister Vivian are full sisters."

Hearing that, Victor understood Miss Dais's identity. She was the younger sister of Alex's fiancée—his future sister-in-law.

Just as Victor was wondering why Miss Dais had appeared here, Count Lloyd spoke. "Dais is my favorite of all my daughters. Since I was injured these past few days, she has also been the one caring for me."

Victor's face showed
