Cangyuan revealed his Golden Crow form and triggered signs of a Great Emperor’s emergence, drawing the attention of the living world and forbidden zones. Dark Supremes and Holy Clan experts moved to hunt him, while Jin Haoyang rushed to his aid.
Jin Haoyang and the Yang Realm’s other forces tried to reinforce Cangyuan, but he sent them all back to their homes. Cangyuan then effortlessly burned away the Dark Supremes’ combined attack, leaving both sides stunned by his power.
After the battle, the worlds realized Cangyuan might be a nine-life mortal-world immortal, and the Dark Supremes fled in terror. Cangyuan unleashed Golden Crow—Sunflare and annihilated them all, leaving the living realm in stunned silence.
Cangyuan entered the underworld and slaughtered the dark race’s defenders, including the Dark Imperial Son, before confronting Wuxiangzi, a third-level Primordial Origin existence. After Wuxiangzi agreed to fight him in the Void, Cangyuan revealed thirty-five other incarnations surrounding him, leaving Wuxiangzi facing thirty-six opponents.
Cangyuan and his incarnations killed Wuxiangzi, then purified the underworld and wiped out the dark race. After the living world celebrated the end of the dark calamity, Cangyuan returned to the Heavenly Dao Space and prepared to sever the Heavenly Dao’s consciousness from the world.
Cangyuan extracted the Heavenly Dao incarnation’s consciousness and stripped the World Origin from the Myriad Heavens and Worlds, allowing the dying world to collapse. He used its Origin to raise the Human World into a Supreme Heaven and Earth, leaving twenty-eight more worlds to transform.
After Cangyuan’s thirty-six World Incarnations were destroyed by a mysterious Dao Venerable, Pangu retaliated by striking Origin Emperor, who denied the attack. Pangu then confronted Daoist Prime Source, identifying him as the assailant.
Pangu exposed Daoist Prime Source as the one who had attacked Cangyuan using a corpse puppet made from White Emperor. Daoist Prime Source admitted he had sought the Flawless Dao Heart and faced Pangu’s challenge to fight.
Pangu defeated Daoist Prime Source after tracing him through his corpse-puppet substitution and every layer of concealment. He declared the Primordial World and Cangyuan under his protection, leaving the Homeless Domain silent and the Primordial World celebrating.
Cangyuan learned that Pangu had defeated Daoist Prime Source with overwhelming ease and returned to cultivation, while Emperor Cang sealed the Eternal Dao Fruit and launched an invasion toward the Chaos Era to capture Cangyuan. Pangu concealed the Homeless Domain from the approaching Black Tide and waited for Cangyuan to break through, but Emperor Cang began using a sensing technique to search for it.
Emperor Cang failed to locate Cangyuan because Pangu concealed the Homeless Domain, while Cangyuan broke through to Dao Venerable and awakened at the peak of the Twelfth Heaven. After learning that Emperor Cang and the Black Tide were searching specifically for him, Cangyuan realized Emperor Cang possessed something of his.
Cangyuan planned to use Emperor Cang’s need for him to reclaim his Dao Fruit, while suspecting that Pangu was hiding more than he revealed. After finding the Homeless Domain, Emperor Cang prepared to lure Pangu into battle and seize Cangyuan.
The Black Tide and thirty Pillar-level Evil Gods pursued the Homeless Domain as its Dao Venerables repeatedly relocated it through hidden anchor points. Emperor Cang stopped the fleeing world, then appeared with a face identical to Cangyuan’s.
Emperor Cang and Cangyuan met and recognized that they had originated from the same existence, but Cangyuan rejected the idea of merging with him. The confrontation ended with Pangu standing between them and challenging Emperor Cang to get past him.
The thirty Pillar-level Evil Gods attacked the Homeless Domain, forcing Pangu and its five Dao Venerables into a desperate battle. As the Three Pure Ones and Twelve Ancestral Witches joined the fight, Emperor Cang ambushed Cangyuan and took over his body, discovering that he possessed a fragment of the Eternal Dao Fruit.
Emperor Cang discovered fragments of the Eternal Dao Fruit within Cangyuan’s body and prepared to destroy the Homeless Domain. Pangu annihilated the surrounding Evil Gods with one axe strike, forcing Emperor Cang to retreat for now as he vowed to return after becoming a true Daluo Heaven.
Emperor Cang withdrew to the Lost Divine Court and began taking over Cangyuan, revealing Cangyuan’s past as Lin Cang, a transmigrator whose rise to Great Luo had gone wrong. Pangu let Emperor Cang escape, while Cangyuan’s remaining consciousness learned the truth of his origins.
After revealing Emperor Cang’s origin and his plan to seize Cangyuan’s Grand Unity Dao Fruit, Cangyuan revealed that he had let Emperor Cang take over to reunite the two halves. Cangyuan reclaimed the complete Dao Fruit and absorbed Emperor Cang’s timeline, bringing all his selves back into one.
Cangyuan transformed the Homeless Domain into a single eternal True Realm centered on the ascended Primordial World, and its beings grew immensely stronger. He returned to the astonished inhabitants and announced that Emperor Cang was dead, the Black Tide had dissipated, and the crisis spanning seven eras was over.
Cangyuan awakened in the Canglan Dao Palace and attained Grand Unity Immortality, merging his World Great Dao into Daluo Heaven. The Jade Emperor Xuanqiong Supreme God welcomed him into the Heavenly Court and granted him the title Emperor Xuan Yuan.
Cangyuan observed the different evolutions of his thirty-six Inner Worlds and the geniuses rising within them, while their World Incarnations became Heavenly Dao. The author then explained why the story ended and left Cangyuan as the creator looking down over all things.
