  • After the Sages chose Haotian and Yaochi to rule the Heavenly Court, Zhou Ming met the concealed Hongjun, who revealed that the Heavenly Dao had developed consciousness.
  • Hongjun explained his conflict with the Heavenly Dao and offered the complete Method of Slaying Three Corpses in exchange for Zhou Ming’s help after he completely Unified with Dao, and Zhou Ming agreed.
  • Zhou Ming suppressed Hongjun’s remaining Divine Thought, warned the Ancestral Witches that Hongjun might betray them, and left for the Moon Star.
  • Chang Xi showed Zhou Ming the preserved Golden Crow corpses, but he discovered she had been guarding Wang Shu’s remnant soul in the Moon Star’s Origin and drew Wang Shu out despite Chang Xi’s pleas.
Chapters 226–250 Vol. 3 Read

Ch. 226The Self-Detonation of Candle Dragon, the Fall of Taiyi

Candle Dragon sacrificed himself to destroy Taiyi, turning the battle between the Immortal Court and Demon Clan into a clash of their supreme formations. The formations eventually collapsed, leaving both sides devastated.

  • Candle Dragon judged that the Dragon Clan’s future was secure with Ao Hai’s advancement and decided to spend his remaining life protecting East Prince Gong.
  • Candle Dragon abandoned his defenses and detonated his cultivation and soul, killing Taiyi and wiping out tens of thousands nearby.
  • Di Jun mourned Taiyi and ordered the Demon Clan to form the Great Formation of the Stars, while East Prince Gong commanded the Immortal Court to form the Myriad Immortals Formation.
  • The two formations repeatedly collided in a brutal battle of attrition as countless fighters died.
  • The Great Formation of the Stars and the Myriad Immortals Formation both collapsed after a final collision.

Ch. 227East Prince Gong Self-Destructs, Fuxi Dies

East Prince Gong, losing to Di Jun, chose to self-destruct and killed Fuxi, Empress Nuwa’s elder brother, in the blast. The battlefield fell silent as Di Jun realized Emperor Xi was gone.

  • The shattered formations gave way to a bloody melee as the Demon Clan and Immortal Court forces continued fighting.
  • Di Jun fought East Prince Gong and gained the advantage, pushing him toward defeat.
  • East Prince Gong feigned an immediate self-destruction, struck Di Jun with the Dragon Head Staff, and rushed toward Fuxi.
  • East Prince Gong detonated himself beside Fuxi, killing them both in the resulting blast.
  • Di Jun roared in grief as the battlefield fell silent over Fuxi’s apparent death.

Ch. 228Finished

After East Prince Gong's self-detonation killed Fuxi, Nuwa arrived at the East Sea battlefield and searched in vain for her brother's remnant soul. She confronted the five Sages with overwhelming hatred, leaving them afraid that she would seek revenge against them and their Dao lineages.

  • Nuwa sensed Fuxi's death and rushed toward the Primordial Wilderness as the five Sages followed.
  • Di Jun led the Demon Clan in a frenzied attack on the fleeing Immortal Court forces, and several Immortal Court cultivators self-detonated rather than be captured.
  • Nuwa froze the battlefield and searched the place where East Prince Gong had detonated, but found no trace of Fuxi's remnant soul.
  • The five Sages arrived, and Nuwa turned her hateful gaze on them, making them fear her retaliation.

Ch. 229Daoist Friend, Calm Your Anger

Zhou Ming stopped Nuwa from killing the surviving Immortal Court cultivators after Fuxi’s death and revealed that he had saved a fragment of Fuxi’s Primordial Spirit. Nuwa spared the survivors, while the five Sages remained wary of Zhou Ming and faced the consequences of their role in Fuxi’s death.

  • Nuwa attacked the surviving Immortal Court cultivators, but Zhou Ming appeared and erased her attack.
  • Nuwa demanded that Zhou Ming move aside so she could avenge Fuxi, and Zhou Ming said the five Sages were the true culprits.
  • Zhou Ming revealed that he had preserved a fragment of Fuxi’s Primordial Spirit and handed it to Nuwa.
  • Nuwa thanked Zhou Ming, promised him a favor, and agreed to spare the Immortal Court cultivators.
  • The surviving Immortal Court cultivators thanked Zhou Ming for saving their lives.

Ch. 230A Fellow Daoist, Please Help Me Safeguard My Brother's Primordial Spirit

Nuwa prepared to fight the other Sages rather than let them punish Di Jun, and asked Zhou Ming to safeguard Fuxi’s Primordial Spirit. Di Jun then spoke privately with Zhou Ming and asked which Sage had released his son from Tanggu Valley.

  • Zhunti, Venerable Lord Yuanshi, and Jieyin demanded that Di Jun be punished for the calamity, while the other Sages tacitly agreed.
  • Nuwa turned to Zhou Ming and asked him to safeguard Fuxi’s Primordial Spirit so she could settle her Karma and fight the Sages without attachments.
  • The five Sages panicked and tried to dissuade Nuwa, fearing her unrestrained revenge.
  • Di Jun told Nuwa he would resolve the matter himself, then asked Zhou Ming to speak with him privately.
  • Di Jun asked Zhou Ming which Sage had released his son from Tanggu Valley, arguing that Zhou Ming’s strength meant nothing in the Primordial Wilderness could escape his notice.

Ch. 231Practicing the Summoning Technique

Di Jun offered Zhou Ming the River Diagram and Luo Script and the Demon Clan’s Great Formation of the Stars in exchange for help striking at Jieyin and Zhunti. Di Jun planned to destroy Mount Sumeru by self-detonating, while Zhou Ming saw how its destruction could serve his larger plans for Nuwa and the Western Teachings.

  • Di Jun confirmed that Zhunti had caused his misfortune and offered Zhou Ming his treasures and the Demon Clan’s formation.
  • Di Jun asked Zhou Ming to help Empress Nuwa hold Jieyin and Zhunti back while he destroyed Mount Sumeru.
  • Di Jun revealed that he intended to self-detonate, explaining that he would rather die than face imprisonment or burden Nuwa while she tended Fuxi’s surviving Primordial Spirit.
  • Zhou Ming accepted that Di Jun had chosen his path and reasoned that Mount Sumeru’s destruction could breach the barrier to the Demon Realm and give Nuwa a reason to mend the heavens.
  • Zhou Ming decided that the resulting crisis could let him interfere in the Western Prosperity, dismissing concerns that the Heavenly Dao might be behind events.

Ch. 232Want to Return to the West? Dream On

Zhou Ming gave Di Jun a powerful attack and agreed to hold off the Sages while Di Jun went to destroy Mount Sumeru through self-detonation. Di Jun headed west, leaving the Monster Summoning Banner with Nuwa, while Zhou Ming and Nuwa blocked Jieyin and Zhunti from returning to the West.

  • Zhou Ming gave Di Jun an attack that could break Mount Sumeru’s defenses and told him to self-detonate beneath the mountain.
  • Di Jun collected the surviving Star Banners and gave Zhou Ming the River Diagram and Luo Script, then entrusted the Monster Summoning Banner to Nuwa.
  • Di Jun flew west, and Zhou Ming blocked Venerable Lord Yuanshi and Zhunti when they tried to stop him.
  • Zhou Ming told Nuwa that Di Jun planned to destroy Mount Sumeru by self-detonating, and Nuwa accepted that it was Di Jun’s choice.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti realized Di Jun was heading to the West and tried to return to Mount Sumeru, but Zhou Ming and Nuwa blocked them.

Ch. 233I Know

Di Jun destroyed Mount Sumeru while Jieyin and Zhunti were held back by Zhou Ming and Nuwa. After discovering the Western Teachings’ true sanctuary lay beneath the mountain, Di Jun headed underground, and Zhou Ming revealed that he knew what was hidden there.

  • Di Jun used Zhou Ming’s energy to break Mount Sumeru’s defenses and ravage the Western Teachings’ palaces, treasures, and disciples.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti begged Zhou Ming and Nuwa to let them return, but the Three Pure Ones refused to intervene.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti took comfort in believing their true sanctuary was a hidden minor world holding their treasures and chosen disciples.
  • Di Jun searched Mount Sumeru for the concealed sanctuary, found no entrance, and fled beneath the mountain to fulfill his promise to Zhou Ming.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti panicked when Di Jun went underground and pleaded with Zhou Ming to release them, but Zhou Ming said he knew what lay beneath Mount Sumeru.

Ch. 234Di Jun Self-Detonates

Jieyin revealed that the Demon Realm’s entrance was sealed beneath Mount Sumeru, but Zhou Ming refused to let him and Zhunti leave to stop Di Jun. After Di Jun self-detonated in the West, Zhou Ming allowed the two Western Sages to go.

  • Taiqing asked Jieyin and Zhunti what was hidden beneath Mount Sumeru, and Jieyin revealed it sealed an entrance to the Demon Realm.
  • The Three Pure Ones urged Zhou Ming to let Jieyin and Zhunti return, but he refused and overpowered the brothers when they threatened him.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti gave up trying to persuade Zhou Ming and waited for the outcome in the West.
  • A tremendous explosion shook the Primordial Wilderness as Di Jun self-detonated, and Nuwa mourned his death.
  • Zhou Ming told Jieyin and Zhunti they could leave.

Ch. 235Leave a Gap

After Mount Sumeru’s destruction opened the passage to the Demon Realm, Zhou Ming organized the Sages and the Twelve Ancestor Witches to contain the threat. Nuwa sealed the passage but left a gap so Jieyin and Zhunti would have to keep suppressing the demonic energy.

  • Dijiang brought Zhou Ming an item, and Zhou Ming asked Nuwa to mend the passage while the Three Pure Ones, Jieyin, and Zhunti sealed and purified the area.
  • Zhou Ming formed the Thirteen Heavenly Gods and Fiends Array with the Twelve Ancestor Witches and guarded the gate as Pangu’s True Body.
  • A demon charged through the passage, but Pangu’s True Body erased him and the creatures behind him with a single ax swing, driving the rest back.
  • Nuwa sealed the passage with Five-Colored Divine Stone, but Zhou Ming asked her to leave a gap for demonic energy to seep through.
  • Nuwa pried a piece of stone away, leaving Jieyin and Zhunti to suppress and purify the energy leaking into the West.

Ch. 236Giving the Journey to the West Tribulation a Serious Boost

After Nuwa sealed the gap to the Demon Realm, Zhou Ming took the two Five-Colored Divine Stones and sent his Treasure Distribution Rock to Flower-Fruit Mountain to strengthen the future Spiritual Stone Monkey. He left with the Twelve Ancestor Witches after warning the other Sages not to go too far when dealing with the Demon Clan and Immortal Court.

  • Nuwa sealed the Demon Realm gap, and the Heavenly Dao bestowed merit on her and the other Sages and Zhou Ming.
  • Nuwa gave Zhou Ming the two Five-Colored Divine Stones she had kept as spares.
  • Zhou Ming sent his Treasure Distribution Rock to Flower-Fruit Mountain, intending it to nurture a stronger Spiritual Stone Monkey and bind the monkey to him through Karma.
  • The other Sages questioned Zhou Ming’s motives, while Taiqing Laozi found that the Heavenly Secrets were too chaotic to calculate.
  • Zhou Ming declined Nuwa’s invitation to stay and discuss the Demon Clan and Immortal Court, then warned the Three Pure Ones, Jieyin, and Zhunti not to go too far before leaving with the Twelve Ancestor Witches.

Ch. 237The Immortal-Monster Era Ends, the Three Pure Ones Go Their Separate Ways

After the Demon Clan and Immortal Court scattered, disputes over Tongtian’s disciples drove the Three Pure Ones to separate and leave Kunlun Mountain. Taiqing and Tongtian departed, leaving Yuanshi alone to claim the mountain.

  • The surviving Demon Clan and Immortal Court chose new paths, with some Demon Clan members joining Tongtian’s Interception Sect, others going to North Nether, and a few joining the Western Teachings.
  • Yuanshi condemned Tongtian’s Demon Clan disciples, and the brothers argued over their different approaches to teaching.
  • Taiqing ended the dispute by announcing he would leave Kunlun Mountain for Shouyang Mountain.
  • Tongtian decided to leave as well, and the brothers exchanged copies of their Sky-Opening Marks before Taiqing departed on Green Ox.
  • Tongtian led the Interception Sect disciples away from Kunlun Mountain to establish a new sanctum.
  • Yuanshi sealed Taiqing Palace and Shangqing Palace, leaving only Yuqing Palace on Kunlun Mountain.

Ch. 238The Candidates to Rule the Heavenly Court

Hongjun summoned the six Sages to discuss choosing a new Heavenly Emperor, and they argued over whether the position should go to an Eastern or Western disciple. He overruled their recommendations and appointed his attendants Haotian and Yaochi to rule the Heavenly Court together.

  • Hongjun summoned Taiqing, Yuanshi, Tongtian, Nuwa, Jieyin, and Zhunti to Zixiao Palace to choose a new Heavenly Emperor.
  • Zhunti recommended Yaoshi, but the Three Pure Ones and Nuwa opposed giving the position to a disciple of the Western Teachings.
  • Yuanshi recommended Guang Chengzi, and Tongtian recommended Duobao as candidates from the Eastern Mystic Gate.
  • Jieyin and Zhunti argued that the Heavenly Court belonged to the whole Primordial Wilderness, prompting Yuanshi to accuse the Western Teachings of scheming against the East.
  • Hongjun ended the dispute and appointed Haotian and Yaochi to jointly rule the Heavenly Court.
  • The Sages accepted Hongjun's decree, though Yuanshi, Jieyin, and Zhunti remained disappointed.

Ch. 239Haotian and Yaochi

Hongjun appointed Haotian and Yaochi to rule the Heavenly Court, gave them treasures, and ordered the Sages to support them. He sent them with the Sages to Buzhou Mountain to meet Zhou Ming and discuss the Human Race’s rise.

  • Zhunti challenged the appointment and invoked Zhou Ming, but Hongjun dismissed his objection.
  • Hongjun named Haotian Jade Emperor and Yaochi Queen Mother, transformed them, and bestowed treasures on both.
  • Hongjun instructed the Sages to support the new rulers and discuss the Human Race’s future with Zhou Ming.
  • After Hongjun departed, the Sages coolly acknowledged Haotian and Yaochi, then agreed to take them to Buzhou Mountain.
  • Taiqing led the Sages, Haotian, and Yaochi out of Zixiao Palace toward Buzhou Mountain.

Ch. 240The Matter—I Agree

The Sages came to Buzhou Mountain to tell Zhou Ming that Haotian and Yaochi would govern the Heavenly Court, and Zhou Ming agreed. He said he would visit the Heavenly Court to discuss the Witch Clan’s interests, while the group prepared to hear the second matter.

  • Dijiang received the Three Pure Ones, Nuwa, Jieyin, Zhunti, Haotian, and Yaochi and led them into Pangu Hall.
  • Taiqing told Zhou Ming that the Dao Ancestor had appointed Haotian as Heavenly Emperor and Yaochi as Queen Mother.
  • Zhou Ming agreed to Haotian and Yaochi governing the Heavenly Court, surprising the Sages.
  • Zhou Ming said he would personally visit the Heavenly Court to discuss further details, and Haotian and Yaochi agreed to await him.
  • Zhou Ming asked Taiqing to explain the group’s other matter.

Ch. 241Hunyuan's Methods

The Sages agreed to postpone discussing the Human Race’s rise until Fuxi’s Primordial Spirit was ready for reincarnation. After they left Pangu Hall, Hongjun revealed to Zhou Ming that he had secretly hidden portions of his Divine Thought within the six Sages, using the Method of Slaying Three Corpses.

  • Taiqing raised the Human Race’s coming prosperity, and Zhou Ming proposed waiting until Fuxi’s Primordial Spirit was stable before discussing the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors.
  • The Sages agreed to Zhou Ming’s proposal and left Pangu Hall, ignoring Haotian and Yaochi as they departed.
  • Haotian and Yaochi recognized that the Sages did not take them seriously and headed toward the Heavenly Court.
  • After confirming everyone had left Buzhou Mountain, Zhou Ming summoned the hidden Hongjun, who appeared as a phantom in Pangu Hall.
  • Hongjun explained that he had concealed Divine Thought within the six Sages through the Method of Slaying Three Corpses, and Zhou Ming questioned whether this meant he controlled everyone who practiced it.

Ch. 242You Really Do Have Something Wrong with Your Brain

Hongjun secretly met Zhou Ming in Pangu Hall and proposed that they cooperate against the Heavenly Dao, which had developed consciousness. Zhou Ming suspected Hongjun had been outmaneuvered after Unifying with Dao, and asked him to explain what happened, beginning with the Dao-Devil War.

  • Zhou Ming questioned Hongjun about hiding Divine Thought inside the Six Sages, but Hongjun downplayed his method.
  • Hongjun told Zhou Ming he wanted to cooperate against the Heavenly Dao, and Zhou Ming laughed at the proposal because Hongjun had Unify with Dao.
  • Hongjun revealed that the Heavenly Dao had developed consciousness, confirming Zhou Ming's suspicions.
  • Zhou Ming concluded that Hongjun had overestimated himself and might be in danger of being assimilated or devoured by the Heavenly Dao.
  • Hongjun began explaining what had happened, saying the story started with the Dao-Devil War.

Ch. 243Fate, Karma

Hongjun explained that Luohu’s destruction of the Western Ancestral Vein left him burdened with Karma, and that the Heavenly Dao offered to remove it if he Unified with Dao. He revealed that he accepted after sensing the auras of the Destiny Demon God and the Karma Demon God behind the Heavenly Dao Will, leaving Zhou Ming stunned and asking how they had returned to the Primordial Wilderness.

  • Hongjun began recounting the Dragon-Phoenix-Qilin Calamity and Dao-Devil War, but Zhou Ming interrupted him and demanded the real reason he chose to Unify with Dao.
  • Hongjun said Luohu detonated the Western Ancestral Vein, leaving the western land devastated and burdening Hongjun with Karma that hindered his attempt to Attain Hunyuan.
  • Hongjun explained that the Heavenly Dao Will offered to eliminate his Karma if he Unified with Dao, though he initially wanted to refuse and retain his freedom.
  • Hongjun said he changed his mind after sensing an aura belonging to a Chaos Demon God above the Heavenly Dao Will.
  • Hongjun revealed that the Destiny Demon God and the Karma Demon God had sought to seize the Heavenly Dao Will and steal the Primordial Wilderness.
  • Zhou Ming questioned how the two Chaos Demon Gods had evaded Pangu’s will, returned to the Primordial Wilderness, and risked confronting him.

Ch. 244Chaos Demon Gods Were This Useless?

Hongjun explained how Destiny and Karma failed to seize control of the Heavenly Dao after destroying each other, leaving it to absorb their Origins. He revealed that he had Unify with Dao in hopes of replacing the Heavenly Dao, and his secret request for Zhou Ming’s cooperation suggested his gamble was now failing.

  • Hongjun said that he, Luohu, and Yang Mei were reincarnations of Chaos Demon Gods, and Zhou Ming acknowledged knowing this.
  • Hongjun explained that Destiny and Karma tried to replace the Heavenly Dao but fought each other to mutual destruction, allowing the Heavenly Dao to benefit.
  • Zhou Ming mocked the Chaos Demon Gods for failing, and Hongjun blamed their defeat by Pangu on Pangu’s overwhelming power and treasures.
  • Zhou Ming asked why Hongjun had dared to Unify with Dao despite knowing the Heavenly Dao’s history.
  • Hongjun admitted that he had sought to replace the Heavenly Dao and control the Primordial World, believing he could find its weakness.
  • Zhou Ming realized Hongjun had gambled his life on that ambition and was likely close to losing.

Ch. 245Unknown Things Were the Most Terrifying

Zhou Ming and Hongjun discussed the Heavenly Dao’s inexplicable behavior and why it had allowed Zhou Ming’s plans to proceed. Hongjun admitted he had found no explanation, leaving both of them facing an unknown threat.

  • Hongjun told Zhou Ming that the Heavenly Dao’s strange behavior, not merely its hidden weakness, had driven him to seek cooperation.
  • Hongjun pointed out that the Heavenly Dao had allowed the Earth Dao, Human Race writing, and the coming Human Dao to emerge while urging him to Unify with Dao.
  • Zhou Ming argued that the Heavenly Dao might have allowed those developments because his Witch Clan was protected by Father God’s will, but Hongjun challenged that explanation.
  • Hongjun said the Heavenly Dao kept restoring the Primordial Wilderness’s original trajectory, avoided direct conflict with Zhou Ming, and had not interfered when he collected Di Jun and Taiyi’s True Spirits.
  • Zhou Ming asked whether Hongjun knew why the Heavenly Dao was indulging him, and Hongjun said he had found no clues and felt a powerful sense of crisis.

Ch. 246You May Not Live to See It

Zhou Ming and Hongjun negotiated an alliance against the Heavenly Dao, with Hongjun revealing that he could only fully Unify with Dao after the Western Prosperity. Hongjun offered Zhou Ming the Method of Slaying Three Corpses instead of his Jade Tablet of Creation, insisting it would prove useful.

  • Hongjun told Zhou Ming that the only chance to destroy the Heavenly Dao Will would come when he completely Unified with Dao.
  • Hongjun explained that he could not Unify with Dao until the Western Prosperity settled his Karma to Jieyin and Zhunti.
  • Zhou Ming demanded terms for their cooperation, while Hongjun warned that the Heavenly Dao might threaten the Witch Clan after the Pangu's Will dissipated.
  • Zhou Ming threatened to suppress Hongjun's Divine Thought if they failed to reach an agreement.
  • Hongjun offered to teach Zhou Ming the Method of Slaying Three Corpses but refused to give him the Jade Tablet of Creation.

Ch. 247The Complete Method of Slaying Three Corpses

Hongjun revealed that the complete Method of Slaying Three Corpses included a second half that could restore a cultivator’s severed origins and let them pursue Proving Dao by Law without losing their realm. Zhou Ming agreed to help Hongjun deal with the Heavenly Dao when Hongjun Unify with Dao, and learned that the Heavenly Dao had blocked Hongjun from Proving Dao by Law.

  • Hongjun told Zhou Ming that the Method of Slaying Three Corpses had a second half called the Method of Shattering Three Corpses.
  • Hongjun explained that the method could return the Three Corpses’ Origins to the main body, allowing cultivators to abolish their Dao Fruit and pursue Proving Dao by Law without affecting their realm.
  • Hongjun pointed out that Zhou Ming had gathered the True Spirits of Demon Race experts such as Di Jun and Taiyi so they could escape the method’s constraints through Reincarnation, and Zhou Ming admitted he had also considered having Zhen Yuanzi and Hongyun reincarnate.
  • Zhou Ming agreed to cooperate with Hongjun and help him deal with the Heavenly Dao when he completely Unify with Dao, in exchange for the complete Method of Slaying Three Corpses.
  • Hongjun said the Heavenly Dao had refused to let him Prove Dao by Law because it feared the threat he would pose after Unifying with Dao, and Zhou Ming concluded that Hongjun had created the Method of Shattering Three Corpses as a way out.

Ch. 248The Second Hunyuan Grand Unity Golden Immortal

Zhou Ming secured Hongjun’s abandoned Divine Thought after learning that Hongjun would reveal the Heavenly Dao’s location only after attempting to Unify with Dao. He warned the Ancestral Witches to distrust Hongjun and strengthen themselves, then left for the Moon Star while Houtu neared Hunyuan.

  • Hongjun refused to reveal the Heavenly Dao’s will and departed after saying he would explain when the Western Prosperity arrived and he was about to Unify with Dao.
  • Zhou Ming suppressed Hongjun’s remaining Divine Thought to secure its cultivation technique and guard against hidden tricks.
  • The eleven Ancestral Witches emerged, and Zhou Ming explained that Hongjun’s cooperation was only partial and that he still intended to replace the Heavenly Dao.
  • Zhou Ming warned the Ancestral Witches that Hongjun might betray them and urged them to cultivate as Houtu approached Hunyuan.
  • The Ancestral Witches returned to secluded cultivation, and Zhou Ming left Pangu Hall for the Moon Star.

Ch. 249You and I Must Be Taken Away Too

Zhou Ming retrieved the nine Golden Crow corpses from Chang Xi and revealed that he intended to take both her and the Moon Laurel Tree away. When he began uprooting the tree, Chang Xi called for him to wait.

  • Chang Xi led Zhou Ming to the Moon Laurel Tree and used her Magic Power to bring out the nine preserved Golden Crow corpses.
  • Zhou Ming collected the corpses and explained that he was honoring his promise to Di Jun.
  • Zhou Ming said he planned to take the Moon Laurel Tree, dismissing Chang Xi’s warning that its removal would disrupt Moon Star’s lunar power.
  • Zhou Ming declared that Chang Xi was coming with him too, promising to help her become a Saint if she cooperated.
  • Zhou Ming enveloped the Moon Laurel Tree in Magic Power to uproot it, and Chang Xi urgently asked him to wait.

Ch. 250Wang Shu

Zhou Ming searched the Moon Star after Chang Xi tried to keep him from taking her and the Moon Laurel Tree, and discovered Wang Shu’s remnant soul hidden in the star’s Origin. He drew Wang Shu out, restraining Chang Xi, and Wang Shu awakened to question him.

  • Chang Xi offered to go with Zhou Ming and let him take the Moon Laurel Tree, but begged to remain on the Moon Star and tend its lunar power.
  • Zhou Ming grew suspicious of Chang Xi’s insistence on staying and searched the entire Moon Star with his Divine Thought.
  • Zhou Ming found the remnant soul of Wang Shu hidden in the Moon Star’s Origin and realized Chang Xi had been guarding her master.
  • Zhou Ming drew Wang Shu’s remnant soul out of the Origin and restrained Chang Xi when she begged him to stop.
  • Wang Shu awakened as Zhou Ming extracted her, and he introduced himself and claimed he wanted to help her revive.
