Background / History

Ning Rongrong was raised as the cherished eldest daughter of Ning Fengzhi and the future Sect Master of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. As a child, she was doted on by Chen Xin and Gu Rong, who she called Grandpa Sword and Grandpa Bone. Her early behavior was willful and spoiled: she demanded that other sect children call her “Boss Rongrong,” and once gathered fellow disciples to intimidate Wang Chuan over his refusal to do so. 3 6 14

Under her family’s orders, Wang Chuan took charge of her cultivation. His strict regimen, supported by Ning Fengzhi’s reward system, gradually redirected her competitive nature toward genuine discipline. She became increasingly close to him, changing how she addressed him from “Wang Chuan” to “Brother Chuan,” while mastering Heart Separation Control and raising her Soul Power. 18

Wanting to stop living under the sect’s protection and Wang Chuan’s care, Ning Rongrong left for Shrek Academy alone.
