"What did they actually look like?" I asked curiously.
"Come to think of it, these Celestials all have rather good looks, but regardless of whether they're male or female, they have an arrogant air, as if they're looking down on all living beings. That makes them very difficult to deal with."
"Even ordinary Celestials possess astonishing strength. Because of the Celestials' appearance, our Asura Realm is now on the verge of extinction. Unfortunately, other than fleeing, we have no other options."
I fell silent for a moment at the Asura King's words, suddenly feeling the cruelty of the situation.
With a powerhouse of the Asura King's caliber, even he had to flee in panic during this Celestial invasion. If it had been me instead, the outcome would have been the same.
"Who could have imagined something like this?" I looked at him and spoke bitterly.
"Come to think of it, there's something that's been bothering me," the Asura King said.
"What?" I looked at him curiously.
"The Hook," the Asura King suddenly said.
"What do you mean?" My expression changed drastically. What exactly did the Hook signify? Why had several people told me to beware of the Hook? It was truly baffling.
The Asura King looked at me and said, "I've heard a terrifying legend, though I don't know whether it's true."
"Tell me. Whatever the truth is, I can accept it," I said.
"I heard that the life and death of all things in this world have nothing to do with places like the underworld. The one truly harvesting their lives is the Hook."
"They say there's great terror between life and death. Not everyone can become a ghost after they die."
"They say that out of a hundred people, only half can turn into ghosts. The other half
