When disaster struck, they were powerless to resist and were swept away by it.
"Looks like the disaster has devoured all order. The whole world is in chaos now." I shook my head.
I had just been to outer space, and only then did I realize in horror that the place we were in had somehow become a vast continent. I had no idea how many kilometers it stretched.
I looked around, but I couldn't see any boundaries. At some point, the place where we lived had transformed into an unimaginably vast landmass.
Scattered cities could be found everywhere. This was enough to show that the upheaval of heaven and earth had torn the continent apart and scrambled it like a jigsaw puzzle. That was why the entire continent had become what I saw before me.
We walked for another three days. The surrounding environment was bizarre. There were lush forests, freezing snow-capped mountains, and desolate deserts. Stranger still, these places were right next to one another, yet none of them affected the others.
Seeing this, I immediately understood. The laws of this world had been completely changed, never to return to what they once were. I could say without hesitation that anyone who survived in this world would have to face this unfamiliar land.
A freezing snow-capped mountain stood in the middle of the desert, yet it had not melted. There seemed to be a temple inside it.
We crossed the desert and arrived in the midst of the snowy mountains.
When we entered the mountains, we discovered that they were actually a temple.
After we passed through the mountain gate, a group of kind-faced monks came out to welcome us.
"Who exactly are you?" I asked.
"You'll know once you go inside," one of the monks replied.
Thus,
