He identified Li Yang's remote residence through a map and hired a private detective to track activity at an abandoned maternity hospital, then accompanied Liang Fan into the site despite expecting danger. 46 134

During the conflict with the red-clothed boy, Li Tongtian supplied crucial background on the ghost's murder and urged an investigation into its origins. He was nearly killed when the red-clothed boy restrained and tore at his body with invisible force, leaving him acutely aware of his lack of power.
