"Sure, I'll go right now." Chu Zhaixing said excitedly.
"Let's go shopping. I've read novels, and shopping is the best way to improve the relationship between a man and a woman." Moon God said.
"Sure." Chu Zhaixing was overjoyed.
And so, the two of them soon left.
I took a sip of tea and said indifferently, "Can Chu Zhaixing handle this Goddess?"
"Give me a break. With his little ability, he can't handle anything." Teacher Ma cursed, though I didn't know whether jealousy was the reason.
That afternoon, Chu Zhaixing returned with a swollen and bruised face. He had been beaten so badly that he looked like a dog. Moon God, on the other hand, remained completely indifferent.
"How did you end up like this?" I stared at Chu Zhaixing in astonishment.
But Chu Zhaixing immediately began to weep, shouting at me, "I really can't afford to provoke this woman. She's terrifying."
Amid his sobbing and wailing, I finally learned what had happened.
It turned out that the two of them had been shopping when Moon God quickly got into a conflict with a woman. Chu Zhaixing could only step forward to defend her, but the woman's man gave him a thorough beating.
In the end, Moon God had to step in herself to resolve the situation.
Later, they continued onward, only to inexplicably get into another conflict with a group of men. Moon God let out a scream and hid behind Chu Zhaixing.
Chu Zhaixing immediately flew into a rage and engaged those men in a fierce battle.
"And then you were beaten into this state?" I looked at him and asked.
"Yes." Chu Zhaixing hung his head, looking like a stray dog.
