With all sorts of confusion, I went to school. I was thinking about the monk's problem the whole way. When I got back to the classroom, Wu Yong mysteriously said to me, "Liang Fan, do you know what happened recently?"
"What happened?" I asked curiously.
"I heard the abandoned school behind us is going to be demolished. Apparently, a lot of construction crews have already gone in," Wu Yong said.
"That's impossible," I stated firmly. The abandoned school is a place of great misfortune; anyone who enters will be hunted by Han Qianqian.
"How could I lie to you? Nothing happened after they went in. It seems the ghost rumors are just exaggerations," Wu Yong said with disappointment.
I didn't say anything, a storm raging in my mind.
Undoubtedly, the school must have discovered something. That's why they were so eager to clear out the abandoned school. But if that's the case, why did they come out unscathed?
As soon as I thought of this, I turned and walked out.
When I arrived at the abandoned school, it wasn't just me; Li Tongtian had also come.
At the entrance of the abandoned school, people were constantly coming and going. These were all construction workers. They were all preparing various tools, and even excavators had been brought in.
Seeing this, my face was filled with complexity.
This abandoned school is the nightmare in my heart. If it were demolished, it would naturally be a good thing. But if it were to bring about even more terrifying consequences, that would be troublesome.
Li Tongtian saw me and pulled me aside, saying softly, "We're in big trouble."
"I have the same feeling. The school has realized something, so they're determined to demolish this place at all costs," I said, looking at him with a solemn expression.
"If Han Qianqian could be eliminated during the demolition, that would be good. But that's not the problem," Li Tongtian said, looking at me with unusual panic in his eyes. "If they don't eliminate Han Qianqian, she'll become even more ferocious."
"And have you considered that the surrounding teaching buildings are natural cover? We hide among them to escape Han Qianqian's pursuit. Relying on these teaching buildings, we can barely hold her off. But even so, every escape is a nightmare for me."
"But what if the teaching buildings are demolished by them? At that point, we'll have nowhere to hide! You know better than I do what the consequences of encountering Han Qianqian in an open area are!"
My face changed drastically. Li Tongtian's words made me afraid to think. The moment I thought of the fear of facing Han Qianqian directly, I quickly said, "I'll go stop them."
"There's no need for that at all." Li Tongtian looked at me, excited. "Haven't you noticed? These people are freely entering and exiting the abandoned school, and nothing has happened. Han Qianqian hasn't appeared either. Isn't that strange?"
"Han Qianqian is in this abandoned school. She's here even during the day. I've seen her before. What reason could there be for her not to appear? Could it be..." I narrowed my eyes, looking ahead, a cold smile tugging at the corner of my lips.
"The person who suppressed Han Qianqian five years ago has returned," Li Tongtian said.
"According to my speculation, when Han Qianqian caused trouble five years ago and so many people died in one day, the school must have taken action. They invited a master who used a coffin, ink threads, and a bracelet to suppress Han Qianqian here, and then they moved away."
"They thought they would be safe, but who knew Han Qianqian would come out. They had no choice but to invite that person out again," I said, stroking my chin.
"The obvious fact is, who could that person be?" Li Tongtian said.
"I think I know," I said, and walked into the abandoned school.
The abandoned school was filled with workers inside and out, and no one noticed us. After I looked around, I headed for the basement.
When we arrived at the basement, we found it incredibly eerie. A figure stood in front of a coffin.
Li Tongtian took a step back, his eyes full of vigilance. But when I saw the silhouette, I asked softly, "Master, may I ask if you were the one who sealed Han Qianqian?"
The figure turned its head. He wore a bamboo hat, held a khakkhara in his hand, and was clad in a black monk's robe. He looked at us and said, "She is no longer here."
"Someone let her out."
After saying this, he turned and walked out.
I hurried to follow him, constantly asking, "Who let her out? And where is she now?"
"That's not important at all. What's important is her current situation," the monk asked me. "You both have a ghostly aura clinging to you. Tell me what you've experienced."
Li Tongtian quickly wanted to tell him, but I stopped him.
I briefly explained the situation, but omitted the matter of the scars on our backs. I only told him that we had encountered Han Qianqian by chance and that she had been chasing us.
The monk nodded indifferently and suddenly asked me, "You're saying she can appear during the day?"

"Yes, she's not afraid of sunlight at all. She's just like a living person. Black dog blood and virgin boy's urine are useless to her," I said quickly.
"That's right. For a ghost of her level, ordinary things are useless," the monk shook his head and looked at me. "The bracelet in your hand is called the Evil Ghost Bracelet. I put it on her wrist; it's a pair.
"This pair of bracelets was originally an evil artifact, but it's perfect for suppressing evil spirits. Unfortunately, one of the bracelets is gone, and the one in your hand cannot unleash its true effect."
"Therefore, although it can injure Han Qianqian, it cannot truly harm her."
I looked at the monk and hesitated before asking, "Then why did you seal her back then, Master, instead of destroying her?"
"Amitabha, my Buddha is merciful. Her resentment is too heavy. If I were to destroy her, she would inevitably fall into the eighteen layers of hell, never to be reborn. Therefore, I sealed her to slowly alleviate her malevolence. Once her malevolence is gone, she can be reincarnated and find liberation." The monk frowned slightly, clasped his hands together, and recited a Buddhist name.
I nodded, lowered my head, and said, "Master, you are merciful. I only beg you to resolve her soon so that we no longer have to suffer her pursuit."
"I will stay here these few days. As long as she dares to appear, I will deal with her," the monk said.
"May I ask for the Master's Dharma name?" Li Taiyi said.
"This poor monk's Dharma name is Du Mo," the monk said softly. He looked no older than thirty, but his chiseled, handsome face was filled with coldness.
"Master Du Mo, may I ask if the person who killed Han Qianqian back then was killed by her?" I suddenly asked.
"This poor monk does not know," Du Mo said, then turned to leave.
