The Rampaging Vicious Ghost

None of us dared to speak loudly, afraid that we would be discovered. Then, the sounds of battle in the distance suddenly stopped. The entire school fell into deathly silence. Amid that silence, we waited anxiously and excitedly.

Just then, our backs suddenly began to ache terribly, and we realized with a start that the way to survive had opened!

Without time to think, I quickly stood up and grabbed Lan Lele's hand, intending to leave. Li Tongtian followed behind me.

We cautiously headed toward the back door, but when I looked at it from a distance, I saw Han Qianqian standing there.

"We'll go to the main entrance. We can't leave through here," I whispered.

Li Tongtian and the others nodded, and we turned around and headed for the main entrance.

We moved carefully, our hearts filled with unease. One by one, we were like rats scurrying across the street.

The main entrance was close—getting closer and closer. At that moment, all of us began to relax.

As long as we left this place, we would be safe.

But then I suddenly felt my whole body tremble, and a chill spread through my heart. I turned my head for a glance and was instantly scared out of my wits.

Han Qianqian had somehow caught up with us. She was so fast that she was practically a blur.

At that moment, she could no longer be said to be running.

She was floating over!

"She's here!" I screamed.

Li Tongtian threw himself forward, rolling and scrambling out through the door. Lan Lele hurried out as well.

That left only me.

The door was just one step away. At that moment, I had already relaxed, because no matter what happened, I was safe.

But in the next instant, my face turned deathly pale.

Han Qianqian had somehow appeared in front of me. She was actually blocking the doorway!

I stopped and stared at her helplessly. Charging past her now would be no different from throwing my life away.

So, under the incredulous gazes of Lan Lele and the others, I gritted my teeth and ran back.

When she saw me run away, Han Qianqian froze as well, then chased after me.

At that moment, I truly felt that there was no way left to survive.

No one could escape from Han Qianqian. Her speed had already reached an unimaginable level.

I ran frantically into a teaching building, then randomly found a classroom and hid beneath a desk.

The entire process took less than a few seconds. By then, Han Qianqian had arrived. Her wandering gaze swept across the surroundings as she searched for me.

I covered my mouth, feeling as if my heart were about to leap out of my throat.

Han Qianqian searched the entire area but found nothing. Yet she did not leave. Her eyes continued scanning the surroundings, seemingly puzzled as to why I had disappeared the moment I entered the teaching building.

But then her gaze suddenly fell on me, and a ferocious smile tugged at her face.

Seeing this, I had no time to think and charged straight for the window. But Han Qianqian was faster. With a sweep of her hand, a blade slashed into my leg. I screamed and rolled and scrambled out the window.

Blood streamed from my wound as I ran frantically, searching for the direction of the entrance. But after looking all around, I still had no idea where the door was. I had completely lost my bearings.

I stood there in terror, rushing around the school like a headless fly. I was utterly panic-stricken.

Just then, footsteps suddenly sounded behind me. I abruptly glanced back and saw that Han Qianqian had caught up.

Without time to think, I searched for a nearby teaching building. But there was nothing.

In the blink of an eye, Han Qianqian had already arrived in front of me. She raised the dagger in her hand, her face twisted viciously.

I was overwhelmed by despair, waiting for the death that was about to come.

But then Han Qianqian's body was suddenly knocked away, and a figure appeared in front of me. He staggered over, looked at me, and asked, "Are you all right?"

"It's you?" I stared at the figure before me, unable to believe that Master Du Mo had actually saved me.

"This isn't the place to talk. Come with me." After saying that, Master Du Mo grabbed me and started to leave.

I hurried after him. At that moment, I no longer cared whether he was a good person or a bad one. I only wanted to stay alive.

Master Du Mo pulled me toward the back door. Behind us, Han Qianqian glared at us viciously. With a flash of her figure, she had already arrived behind us.

She raised her dagger and thrust it toward me, intending to pierce straight through me. But Master Du Mo swung his ritual staff, blocking wave after wave of attacks for me.

As I ran, I found the whole situation utterly absurd.

Master Du Mo had been trying to kill all of us just moments ago, yet now he was protecting me. The contrast left me feeling that everything was impossibly strange.

Master Du Mo's body trembled, and his steps were unsteady. He had clearly suffered serious injuries. Blood streamed down his body, but he continued protecting me.

We soon reached the back door. I hurried inside, only to see Master Du Mo struggling desperately against Han Qianqian. The blood covering him was increasing by the moment, and he was already at his limit.

"Master, hurry and get out!" I shouted at him.

Master Du Mo fought while retreating, but Han Qianqian suddenly let out a furious roar. Her speed became so fast that it was utterly inconceivable. Faced with this, the pressure on Master Du Mo increased greatly, and several more wounds appeared on his body.

Yet he calmly defended himself, his body remaining completely motionless.
