I fell silent, my gaze shifting to Li Yang. I had to admit, he was right.

If it weren't for Han Qianqian, we wouldn't have bothered him. After all, there was no benefit in it for us.

Wu Yong, however, cursed, "Even so, we at least had a chance, maybe we could have survived."

"Is it too foolish to place your hope in a ghost with no humanity? How about we strike a deal," Li Yang said, looking at me.

"Speak, what deal," I replied, looking at him.

"I'll go in with you, I'll deal with Han Qianqian. That way, you can survive. And I can survive too," Li Yang said, looking at me.

"What are the conditions?" I asked again.

"The condition is, you not only can't report me, but you have to pretend you know nothing," Li Yang said with a smile.

"Do you think I'll agree to that?" I said, looking at him.

"You will agree, of course. Aren't these conditions good for you? And do you really think I'm afraid of threats?" Li Yang said, his eyes looking at me coldly, "If you report me, I'll make you pay. I can deal with Han Qianqian, so dealing with you will be easy."

Li Yang glanced at me and turned to leave.

Han Qianqian was terrifying, so Li Yang, who could deal with Han Qianqian, was probably even more so.
