Ao Lie is a disciple of Xuanxiao and a son of Ao Run, the West Sea Dragon King. Even while carrying the Dragon Race's karmic debt, he rapidly develops into a formidable fighter; Yang Jian is unable to understand how a younger dragon can match him in combat. Ao Lie credits Xuanxiao's strength for his own growth. 232

Xuanxiao arranges Ao Lie's marriage into the Phoenix Clan.
