Let me start with what everyone is most concerned about--
The short version: 8,500 words have been updated today. I'll be taking the next three days off, and Volume Two will begin updating at noon on the ninth. The keywords for Volume Two are the Theocracy, archaeology, stibium, the Empire, Iris, the Ouroboros Ring Ritual, and requests for monthly tickets.
Those of you with time to listen to Cat ramble can sit down and hear me chatter for a while.
After 442 chapters and 1.43 million words, the first volume of this book has come to an end.
I've been writing for ten years and have written more than ten million words. Without a doubt, this is the longest volume I've ever written...
But Cat is very satisfied... Whether it's the results, the income, or my growth as a writer, I'm extremely satisfied! Here's a report on the results: so far, this volume's average subscriptions have surpassed 22,000, while its lowest number of ongoing readers was still above 8,000. These are my best results to date, three to four times higher than The Player is Super Just at the same point. I'm truly grateful to everyone! To be honest, Shepherd's Secret Covenant was something of a creative low point for me.
I've said before that I want to write about different subjects in every book. While I'm still young, I want to try as many different subjects as possible. That way, when I'm older and my creativity declines, I won't have to take risks and break new ground.
When I wrote Shepherd's Secret Covenant, a book that in some sense combined the strengths of Mercury Blood, The Player is Super Just, and my other works, it also meant that my physical condition and creative state had clearly declined.
