Giant Prince Wolfram

When Iver saw the griffin Philip seize his wheelchair, he thought Mr. Philip was about to fly a kite.

He was the kite.

He had to hold on to the wheelchair with all his strength, or he would be thrown off.

Whether priests or Demon Scholars, both were classes that offered little improvement to physical fitness. Fortunately, Iver's constitution was decent, so he probably wouldn't fall off halfway and become a bomb dropped by a bomber...

Only after taking flight did Iver realize... Mr. Philip was much steadier than he had imagined.

During the acceleration phase, Iver felt no air resistance at all. It was only when the griffin rapidly reached the vicinity of their destination and began slowing down that Iver started to feel the pressure. Even so, Philip still spared attention to keep Iver steady.

Looking down from above, Iver immediately knew where the trouble was.

Near the Bureau of Supervision in the Red Queen District, within roughly two blocks, there wasn't even a single pedestrian in sight.

People had instinctively chosen to take a detour, leaving an empty circle behind. Likewise, because no one approached them, nobody noticed the red-robed figures whose movements were mysterious and whose clothing alone looked unsettling.

"It's the Crowd Dispersal Ritual."

The Grand Guardian narrowed his eyes slightly. "They dispersed everyone who might have seen them and infiltrated the area this way."

Driving away everyone who might see them—this could undoubtedly count as a form of infiltration.

At least it was much gentler than killing everyone who saw them.

"Take Iver and Lily down, Philip."

The Grand Guardian gave his order. "Put them somewhere farther away first, then come back and help me. Once I've cleared out the people inside, have them come over and provide treatment."

"No problem."
