Chapter 31: Heavenly Demon City

After leaving the Houtu Tribe, Shen Gui once again arrived at Qingluan City.

Compared to Shen Gui's last visit, Qingluan City hadn't changed much. After all, six years was too short a time in the Great Desolation.

"Fellow Daoist Shen Gui is quite punctual."

Outside Qingluan's stone house in Qingluan City, Qing Luan emerged as Shen Gui landed directly outside the house.

Qingluan City was not too far from Mount Buzhou, and Qing Luan's speed was unparalleled. Therefore, it didn't take them much time from leaving Qingluan City to Mount Buzhou appearing in their sight.

Shen Gui also dismounted from Qing Luan.

"For the remaining journey, we can only fly at low altitudes. Do not fly too high."

Shen Gui nodded. "Thank you for the reminder, Fellow Daoist Qing Luan."

He could understand this.

Setting aside the pressure from Mount Buzhou, flying lower was also a sign of respect for Pangu.

After Qing Luan reminded Shen Gui, the two continued to advance towards Mount Buzhou.

Not long after, a boundless, unwalled city appeared in Shen Gui's sight.

"Alright, let's not talk about this anymore. I'll take you to see the Empress. The Empress and Great Sage Fuxi both live in cave dwellings on Mount Buzhou, not in Heavenly Demon City."
