Roland lightly shifted his feet and nimbly dodged the incoming flaming arrow. Then, while sprinting toward the dormitory, he furrowed his brows and pondered in secret.
"Could monsters be attacking?"
"No. Monsters shouldn't be able to use arrows."
Based on Roland's past combat experience, whether they were kobolds or Gnolls, those monsters preferred close-quarters combat.
Even the most cunning goblins merely hid in the rear and threw stones at most. He had never seen them use a ranged weapon like a bow, which required skill.
"If it isn't monsters, then it can only be a human army."
"Judging by the number of flaming arrows, the attacking army is probably quite large."
As he thought this, Roland's hands never stopped moving.
After entering the dormitory, he swiftly put on his chainmail, fastened his short bow to his waist, secured his quiver firmly to his back, and sprinted toward the manor gate with his iron sword in hand.
As the saying went, when the nest was overturned, no egg remained unbroken.
