"Cloud Smoke Master?"
There was no doubt that one of the sides locked in fierce battle was Cloud Smoke Master, whose blade had been broken.
He looked somewhat disheveled.
Blood marks appeared on his body from time to time.
Those blood marks looked like words written with fingers dipped in blood. They were broken and intermittent, but one could barely make out what seemed to be names.
And every time a blood mark appeared,
the needle and thread at the corresponding spot on his body would snap, and flesh would fall away.
It was impossible to tell whether he was actively tearing off his flesh to strip away the curse, or whether the curse itself was causing his human skin to decay. But the flesh scattered across the ground along the way had finally found its explanation.
"What kind of evil creature is that?"
The youth at the front stared solemnly at the half-human, half-tombstone evil creature.
It looked extremely old.
Its face was covered in layers upon layers of deep furrows.
Perhaps it was ninety years old.
Perhaps a hundred.
Its dusky skin had long since lost all fat and muscle, leaving only a layer of loose skin covered in age spots hanging from its skeleton.
From the position of its chest downward,
there was instead a broken tombstone covered in moss.
The connection was clearly abrupt, yet it gave people the strange illusion that the two had always been one.
It was as if the tombstone had grown half a body.
There were faint traces of writing on the tombstone.
Unfortunately, the erosion of time had worn them smooth. The few incomplete strokes that remained were not enough to make out the original characters.
"Boom!"
Cloud Smoke Master was inside the Ghost Domain.
Every movement left a patch
