It was the weekend, and there were no students at school.
Jiang Qiao had Shen Yingning stay in the car while he entered the campus alone.
If he couldn't obtain plenty of information from this girl, he would have sent her away already.
Before Supernatural Revival, she had been nothing but a burden.
Following the teaching building, Jiang Qiao arrived at the spot where the old woman from the rumors had jumped to her death.
He opened his Gray Light vision and began carefully searching the surrounding area.
But after making a full circuit, he found nothing.
Everything seemed perfectly normal, except that midway through, he spotted a female ghost in a white dress floating past the door.
When Jiang Qiao chased after her, the female ghost was knocking on the doors of the classrooms one by one.
He couldn't hear anything, but it was clear she was seriously looking for someone. A hint of anxiety showed in those eyes that were nothing but whites.
"Miss, what are you looking for?"
Jiang Qiao walked over and asked with a smile.
The other party ignored him and continued repeating what she had been doing.
The corridor was deserted, and there was nothing in the classrooms.
But Jiang Qiao observed that the female ghost seemed to be communicating with and questioning someone.
Every so often, she even smiled knowingly.
"A remnant soul?"
Jiang Qiao stopped and began pondering as he watched the female ghost's behavior.

But the strange thing was that these Vicious Ghosts didn't believe themselves to be fakes.
Ignoring the female ghost, Jiang Qiao planned to inspect some other places.
But the moment he turned around, a man in a red Zhongshan suit and holding a black umbrella appeared at the end of the corridor.
He was walking downstairs one step at a time.
"Is this school a ghost nest or something?"
Jiang Qiao found it somewhat unbelievable. He could understand one remnant soul.
But another one had appeared, and that made things different.
Supernatural Revival had yet to begin, and Vicious Ghosts were actually quite rare.
Jiang Qiao hurried after him, wanting to see where he was going.
The man paid no attention to Jiang Qiao.
Following the stairs, he went all the way to the underground storage room and finally walked into a cabinet.
Then he vanished.
Jiang Qiao walked over and kicked the cabinet open, only to discover an old Wood Door behind it.
Five locks hung on the Wood Door.
His Gray Light vision couldn't see through it. The door blocked his view.
A chilly aura seeped through the crack beneath the door, and Jiang Qiao keenly sensed dense Ghost Qi.
As the wind blew over him, a sense of danger rose in his heart.
It seemed that the door led to a Place of Great Omen.
After thinking it over, Jiang Qiao didn't force his way in to investigate. Instead, he returned to the school playground.
He glanced at the Simulator. Three minutes remained.

Jiang Qiao glanced over the pile of B- and C-grade talents that appeared. He couldn't even be bothered to look closely, so he casually selected one and additionally chose the Personality Talent "Impulsive Urge."
He planned to use his Impulsive Urge to explore the secrets behind the door.

[Day One. Supernatural Revival. Terror descends. You leave the villa and begin your Hunting Moment.]
The next few days proceeded routinely, with nothing new happening.
Although you acted recklessly and impulsively, your strength was right there, so you simply charged ahead.
You beat a group of Vicious Ghosts until they howled, and on the ninth day, you quickly raised your strength to the Third Tier.
[Day Nine. You arrive in North City District. You are very interested in the secrets hidden within the smog and want to investigate.]
[Day Ten. You go on a killing spree in North City District, leaving a river of Vicious Ghost blood in your wake. But you don't draw out any more terrifying existence. They are all too weak. It seems this place really is quite uneventful.]
[Day Eleven. You slaughter all the Vicious Ghosts near North City Third Primary School and enter the campus. You don't find any Vicious Ghosts, including the remnant souls you saw before Supernatural Revival.
You arrive at the school basement and discover an open Wood Door. You can't see anything in the pitch-black interior, but a chilly wind blows out, stimulating your strength to keep rising.
You walk inside.
It is a narrow tunnel that slopes slightly downward and stretches into the depths underground. The surroundings are dark and damp, covered in mold.
Following the tunnel, you eventually arrive at a warehouse.
It is a very ordinary place, and you don't find the Vicious Ghost you imagined.
The only thing you gain is a Graduation Photo inside an abandoned box in the corner.
The photo is old and yellowed, and the students' clothes and hairstyles resemble those from more than twenty years ago.
They wear brilliant smiles, seemingly filled with hope for the future.
But strangely, none of the students in the photo have eyes. The areas where their eyes should be are completely blank.
It looks terrifying and bizarre.
Among the teachers at the front, you see a familiar woman.
She once wandered through the corridors, knocking on classroom doors one after another as if searching for something.
She is the only person in the photo with eyes.]
[Day Twelve. Early morning. You hear someone knocking on the window, but you are on the third floor at the time.
You originally think a Vicious Ghost is courting death and want to show it your prized possession, but when you open the window, you find nothing outside.
However, when you close the window, you see a pale child in a school uniform standing behind you in the reflection of the glass. You whirl around, but there is nothing there.
You use your Dual Pupils to scan the area, but still find nothing.]
[Day Thirteen. Early morning. You hear someone knocking on the window again.
You notice in the glass's reflection that the pale child behind you is much closer. You can even clearly see North City Third Primary School written on the uniform.
You take out the photo and compare them, locking onto one of the children standing in the corner.]
[Day Fourteen. Early morning. You discover that the child is already standing behind you, but no matter what method you use, you can't touch him.
In the morning, you take the photo back to the school basement and put it back where it was.
When you leave the school and prepare to ride your motorcycle home, you suddenly see a group of children sitting behind you in the rearview mirror.
They overlap and crush against one another, yet cling stubbornly to your back seat.
You turn around, but there is nothing there.
When you look at the rearview mirror again, the children have vanished.]
[Day Fifteen. Early morning. Through the window glass, you see a group of people standing behind you. They reach their hands toward you.
That night, you go to the school basement again. After entering that room, you tear the photo to shreds and set it on fire.
The flames engulf the room and reduce it to ashes.]
[Day Sixteen. Early morning. You hear a voice beside your ear.
"Why does none of you recognize me?"
You spin around and see a group of eyeless children staring fixedly at you.
You throw a punch like a dragon, but it is utterly meaningless.
Lightning and Gray Light pass through the children and blast through the floor. It seems these children are merely illusions and do not really exist.
You try everything, but there is nothing you can do.
In the end, you flee North City District and arrive in South City District, desperately hoping to use the Braided Girl to suppress these bizarre existences.
But to your horror, you discover that the Braided Girl seems unable to see you!
And you can't touch her either.]
[Day Seventeen. Early morning. You stand among the children, smiling.]
