The Unseen Person

Clang.

The elevator jolted lightly and stopped again.

Niu Dagui glanced at the floor indicator. They were on the thirteenth floor, still five floors away from their destination on the eighteenth.

With a ding,

the elevator doors slowly opened again.

However, the elevator lobby outside the thirteenth floor was completely empty. There wasn't a single person in sight.
