Naruto's Mangekyo

"Hehehe, brat, you think awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan means you can challenge this old man?"

The Nine-Tails' gaze suddenly sharpened, like two keen blades fixed directly on Naruto.

Naruto showed no fear. A strange smile appeared on his face as he said, "Kurama, you were controlled by the Mangekyō Sharingan twice."

"You brat!"

The Nine-Tails' mouth twitched slightly—not a smile, but a sign of suppressed rage. Like the stillness before a storm, it foretold an imminent eruption.

"Get in here! I'll tear you apart with my own claws!"

"Hahahaha, Kurama, let me see what the strongest Tailed Beast can do."

The skies had cleared, the rain had stopped, and Uzumaki Naruto thought he was invincible. He charged straight into the cage imprisoning the Nine-Tails.

More importantly, this was the Sealing Space. Even if he died here, he would not truly die.

"Roar!"

The Nine-Tails merely let out a disdainful roar before swinging its massive fox paw at Naruto with tremendous speed.

Faced with such a simple strike, Naruto merely sidestepped, causing the Nine-Tails' attack to hit empty space and kick up a huge spray of water.

At the instant he dodged, Naruto clapped his hands together.

Dozens of Chakra clones instantly appeared around him. They scattered in several directions, forming a semicircle around the Nine-Tails.

"Wind Release: Vacuum Bullet!"

All the clones clapped their hands together and drew in deep breaths. Immense Chakra gathered in their mouths before they simultaneously fired a continuous barrage of Wind Release: Vacuum Bullets. Like machine guns, they saturated the Nine-Tails with firepower.

The Nine-Tails swung its nine tails behind it, shielding itself.

"Boom!"

Every Vacuum Bullet struck the Nine-Tails' nine tails, instantly kicking up thick clouds of smoke. Empowered by the Mangekyō Sharingan, Naruto's Vacuum Bullets were now far stronger than Sarutobi Hiruzen's, leaving several wounds across the Nine-Tails' tails.

"Not bad, Naruto brat..."

"Wind Release: Rasengan."

The Nine-Tails spread its tails apart, revealing its crimson vertical pupils. Just as it was about to spit out a few insults, it saw dozens of blond brats rolling spheres in their hands as they charged toward it.

Damn it! No honor at all.

The Nine-Tails' heart jolted. Being hit by dozens of Wind Release spheres would not feel good.

It controlled its nine tails again, using five to protect itself while sweeping the other four toward Naruto's charging clones.

Naruto stood in the distance with his arms crossed, the corners of his mouth curling upward. Then, the vertical pupil in his left eye suddenly widened.

Mangekyō Sharingan ocular technique: Dōhenmyōshin!

In an instant, nine torii gates descended from the sky, pinning all nine of the Nine-Tails' tails to the ground.

"Gate of the Great God!"

The familiar sight made the Nine-Tails' heart stop. It thought Hashirama Senju had risen from the dead, and for a moment, it forgot to resist.

The Nine-Tails was stunned, but Naruto was not. Dozens of clones had already rushed before it with Rasengans in hand, launching a suicidal assault.

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

The explosions of dozens of Rasengans and the dispersal of Shadow Clones rang out at once. This time, the smoke from the exploding clones engulfed the Nine-Tails' entire massive body, making it impossible to see what was happening inside.

Naruto remained where he was, his mouth slightly open as he breathed lightly. Creating dozens of clones and having them use Rasengans at once had consumed a great deal of Chakra. At five and a half years old, he did not yet possess absurd amounts of Chakra, so he needed a moment to recover.

Yet faced with the Nine-Tails' vicious tail attacks, Naruto showed little panic. He clapped his hands together again.

Nine enormous wooden hands appeared out of nowhere within the Sealing Space, directly blocking the Nine-Tails' attack.

"Wood Release?"

The Nine-Tails immediately pulled back its nine tails, uncertainty filling its face.

The nine wooden hands vanished as well. Naruto pointed to his left eye and said, "It's not Wood Release. It's the ability of my Mangekyō Sharingan. Its name is Dōhenmyōshin."

"A very useful ocular technique."

Naruto was extremely satisfied with the ocular technique in his left eye. Whether in his previous life or this one, it was an ability he liked very much.

Dōhenmyōshin.

It was an ocular technique similar to, yet vastly more powerful than, that of the Kurama clan. The Nine-Tails stared blankly at the giant Buddha. Dead memories began attacking it again, and the humiliation of being grabbed in one hand by Hashirama Senju surged into its heart.

"Damn brat, don't underestimate the Tailed Beasts!"

The Nine-Tails flew into a rage. When Hashirama Senju caught it, there was nothing it could do. When Madara Uchiha controlled it, there was nothing it could do. But now, even some brat dared to stand over its head. Did they really think the Nine-Tails was a soft target?

Its nine tails pointed forward as the Nine-Tails raised its head high. Yin and Yang Chakra continuously gathered before it and spun at high speed, eventually forming a dense black sphere of energy.

The Nine-Tails swallowed the shrunken energy sphere in one gulp, its cheeks swelling on both sides. Then it fired it straight at Naruto like a streak of black light.

This was a genuine Kage-level attack, even the full-strength strike of an ordinary Kage-level fighter.

"Damn! Kurama's actually getting serious." Naruto's expression shifted slightly, but he was not particularly panicked.

Eleven giant hands moved at once, blocking the Tailed Beast Ball in an attempt to intercept it in midair.

The space before Naruto suddenly began to distort and twist, eventually turning into a vast black vortex that swallowed even light.

When the Tailed Beast Ball reached Naruto, it actually halted before the enormous black vortex, then was gradually swallowed into it.

"What?" The Nine-Tails' eyes widened again, but a second Tailed Beast Ball had already begun forming before it.

"The Mangekyō Sharingan really is troublesome. Let's see how many Tailed Beast Balls you can absorb!"

Seeing the Nine-Tails gathering a second Tailed Beast Ball, Naruto did not use the black vortex again. Instead, he used the Shadow Clone Technique.

Then... he began rolling spheres as well.

Only this time, four people were making one sphere.

Naruto's real body quickly retreated, because the sphere made by the four clones was somewhat large. He did not add Wind-nature Chakra, because the amount of Chakra gained from that first Tailed Beast Ball was a little too great. If he added too much Wind-nature Chakra, he probably would not be able to form it.

The sphere was soon complete. The other three clones had exhausted their Chakra and vanished, leaving only one clone standing atop the Buddha with a Rasengan several times larger than a person raised high above its head.

"Kurama, have you ever heard of a sphere falling from the heavens?"

The clone leaped down while holding the giant Rasengan aloft, descending from the sky straight toward the Nine-Tails.

"Naruto!"

The Nine-Tails' face twisted as it fired its Tailed Beast Ball again. Like a sharp sword, it vowed to split apart the massive Rasengan falling from above.

When the two collided violently in midair, the entire Sealing Space seemed shaken by the clash of energies. The Tailed Beast Ball was a sphere containing Tailed Beast Chakra compressed to the utmost limit, but Naruto's Super Big Ball Rasengan was likewise a ninjutsu formed through the extreme compression of Chakra absorbed from the Nine-Tails' first Tailed Beast Ball. The light released by their collision was like the eruption of a miniature sun, instantly tearing through the surrounding darkness and revealing daylight-like brilliance.

In the air, a powerful shockwave spread outward in a ring from the two Tailed Beast Balls. Wherever it passed, the ground trembled. The Buddha Naruto had created with his ocular technique was directly pulverized by the shockwave, and even the air was filled with a suffocating pressure. Within the radiance, ripples of energy visibly spread outward, as if the entire Sealing Space had been warped by this power.

At the boundary between light and darkness, two different types of Chakra clashed violently, producing dazzling colors. Red and blue intertwined like the realms of Yin and Yang, eroding each other.

In the end, when both energies were depleted, the light gradually faded. The Nine-Tails still lay where it was, protected by its tails, while Naruto stood at the entrance of the cage. Layer upon layer of damaged stone walls had shielded him from the impact. Nothing else around them had changed, because this was the Sealing Space. So long as the seal remained intact, nothing could be destroyed.

"Was that also your ocular technique?"

With Naruto's current Chakra reserves, it was impossible for him to create such a powerful Rasengan. Even the Fourth Hokage could not have used a Rasengan to block its Tailed Beast Ball.

Damn it. It was the strongest Tailed Beast, yet it could not defeat a little brat.

Naruto straightened the clothes that had been blown messy by the impact, then smiled and pointed to his right eye.

"The ocular technique of my right eye—Bishamonten."

Bishamonten possessed the power to devour everything.

When Naruto used this ocular technique, he could devour and absorb other substances—any form of energy, whether physical energy, spiritual energy, or Chakra. He could directly absorb them all. After devouring them, he could even strengthen his own abilities and make the other party's powers his own.

The abilities of his two eyes complemented each other somewhat. He just wondered whether devouring a ninja with a Kekkei Genkai would allow him to obtain that Kekkei Genkai as well.

The Mangekyō Sharingan truly deserved to be called the eyes that reflected the heart. Naruto liked both of these abilities.
