Background and History

Hinata is the eldest daughter of Hyuga Hiashi and Hyuga Keiko, and Hanabi’s older sister 19 20. As a young child, she is timid enough to be bullied over her white eyes. Naruto intervenes, though he also criticizes her weakness. When villagers attack him after she tries to defend him, Hinata blames herself for being unable to help 8.

The sight of Naruto injured drives her to change. She awakens her Byakugan, trains relentlessly, and asks Neji to spar at full strength so she can measure the gap between them 19 20.
