Plant Master shook his head. Whether his opponent was an avatar of that power or not made no difference to him.

Anyone who stopped him from saving the Earth, from saving the world, was his enemy.

To save the world he loved, for the sake of world peace, to defeat the dark corruption of evil and overcome rotting death, he, Jason Wood, was willing to give everything!

The power of the Green surged through his body, its overwhelming vitality like the Amazon River rushing into the embrace of the Atlantic Ocean.

"You have no idea what we're facing. The dark corruption is coming—ultimate death, ultimate decay. I have no choice but to strengthen the power of the Green."

"I apologize for invading the domain of the Red, but I will never stop what I'm doing."

Plant Master said, "This is the last way to keep the entire Earth from being destroyed by corruption and death! Only the Green can save..."

"The Red has no intention of pursuing your actions."

He heard the huge green dinosaur before him say, "This is merely a struggle between us."

"All I want now is to beat you to death, or... be beaten to death by you."

The green dinosaur's presence grew increasingly imposing. As he faced Plant Master, it was as though invisible currents were resonating through the air.

Red and green.

Plants and animals.

A clash of ideals, a battle of convictions, was about to erupt!

Deathshot's expression was a little strange.

Why did this scene feel so familiar?

He glanced from the corner of his eye at the solemn-looking Dizzy Earl beside him. The man seemed to have been completely intimidated by Batman and Plant Master.

Then Deathshot looked at Cheshire Cat, who was crouched nearby, panting heavily, and Welding Dog, who lay sprawled on the ground with all four limbs twisted.

That sense of déjà vu grew stronger and stronger.

Poison Ivy had set these trees to attack automatically, so they did not need Plant Master's control at all—

The huge green dinosaur's engine roared to life. With Plant Master chasing after it, it soon vanished into the woods.

A green Tyrannosaurus charged straight into a tree blocking the path and smashed it in two. Behind the clouds of dust and falling trees, Plant Master followed close behind, driving a wooden dragon and a giant tree crab.

Every tree they passed was either knocked down by the dinosaur or controlled by Plant Master and transformed into another member of the force in his grasp.

The huge green dinosaur finally spotted the two people embracing, and his eyes immediately lit up.

All his painstaking planning had not been in vain.

"My God!" Harley Quinn said.

"Pamela, you're fin—" Plant Master emerged from the trees, but he had only gotten halfway through his sentence when he saw the two people embracing. Two pairs of eyes blinked at him, leaving him stunned for a moment.

His expression darkened, and the leaves on his face began turning a deep, inky green.

"So... this is where your loyalty lies? Like some hopeless meat bun?"

The huge dinosaur Chen Tao had become ran cackling behind the two women, then returned to human form.

"Great, Harley! You convinced her! Come on, Ivy, it's decided—you're the one! Go teach your old pal a lesson."

Robin, Deathshot, and the others had been thrown around so badly by Chen Tao that they were dizzy. They staggered to their feet.

Plant Master shouted back even louder, "I'm willing to give it a try!"

Plant Master fell silent.

The earth trembled.

Countless giant hands made of grass and trees burst through the ground. It was practically like the enormous beanstalk from a fairy tale, connecting earth and sky.

Everyone stared up blankly and saw the shadow cast across their faces.

Countless bizarre plants—carnivorous flowers, agony trees, and wolfsbane—wove a dark cloud above everyone's heads, like a mountain hanging upside down!

The sky collapsed!

The countless plants rolled downward, surging toward everyone like a waterfall. It was as if the earth were a piece of torn cloth that someone had cut down and flipped over their faces!

"No!"

Deathshot let out a scream.

He felt like he was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

But in the next second, the plants filling the sky halted in midair.

It was Poison Ivy!

The smile on Plant Master's face froze.

"Impossible! I clearly ate a piece of Swamp Thing's rhizome!"

"Heh heh heh..."

Cold sweat broke out across Poison Ivy's face, and her teeth chattered uncontrollably.

"Hold him back, Little Red!"

Harley Quinn's encouragement gave her strength. Green light appeared in Poison Ivy's eyes, and her red hair flew in the wind—

"Who do you think I am?"

Plant Master strained with all his might. His dark-gold eyes nearly bulged from their sockets, yet the plants filling the sky continued to be pushed backward bit by bit by Poison Ivy's power!

A bead of sweat fell from Poison Ivy's chin onto the ground.

Everyone heard the deafening sound, and everyone stared at Poison Ivy in disbelief.

The red-haired plant witch walked toward Plant Master step by step. With every step she took, the plants under Plant Master's control disintegrated a little more. Her movements were difficult, yet she pressed Plant Master down so completely that he had no power to fight back.

She stretched out both hands and suddenly seized the green veins that did not exist in the mortal world.

"Raaahhh—"

The plants collapsed, and the green rolled backward. Plant Master retreated in horror—

"I'm Ivy. I'm Poison Ivy—and the plant world—belongs to me!!!"

RIP!

All the plants split apart in an instant, then turned to ash and vanished into the air.

Poison Ivy stood panting in front of Plant Master, who was too shocked to speak. The apocalyptic sight of dark clouds pressing down on the city seemed like nothing more than a dream.
