Batman-Mite: Dating Takes So Long, You Might as Well Just Have a Baby

At this point, all of The Grim Knight's abilities came from Bat-Mite. Fortunately, Bat-Mite seemed to have learned from Mister Mxyzptlk's failure when Joker stole his powers. He wasn't an idiot, and hadn't stupidly handed his abilities over directly. Instead, he had given The Grim Knight a basic trigger mechanism: "send a task request," followed by Bat-Mite "completing the task."

This superpower seemed utterly absurd, and in reality...

It really was utterly absurd. Bat-Mite had come up with it on a whim purely for amusement, but for The Grim Knight, there couldn't have been a better situation.

The so-called "summoning of marriage partners" was merely a smokescreen. In The Grim Knight's hands, it was an opportunity to endlessly summon all the most dangerous villains in the Over-Time Stream.

The Merciless knew that Bat-Mite couldn't possibly let him actually kill Batman. This Five-Dimensional Being was a fan of Batman. He had brought these villains here because he wanted to watch Batman crush them effortlessly, not because he wanted Batman to actually get hurt or anything.

But that was already enough. The Merciless's mission was simply to delay things for as long as possible and give The Batman Who Laughs more opportunities. Wasn't this enough to buy time?

Wedding Dress Doomsday let out a roar toward the sky. Like Alliance Wonder Woman beside him, Doomsday from the time of The Death of Superman was being tormented terribly by the wedding dress he was wearing.

Although Bat-Mite's Fifth-Dimensional Power helped Doomsday resist the paradoxical punishment descending from the Over-Time Stream, it had also dressed him in an iron suit that he could never take off.
