Huo Wu was thoroughly enraged by the successive freezes. With an angry roar, Soul Power surged wildly from within her, instantly blasting the ice covering her body to pieces.

But before she could even catch her breath, Shui Bing'er raised her wrist again and unleashed another instant-cast freezing skill, locking Huo Wu firmly in place and leaving her unable to move.

Shui Bing'er then stepped lightly over to Huo Wu. A mocking smile curled across her lips as she said, "Where did you even get the courage to challenge me to a one-on-one fight?"

Then, without sparing any concern for her Soul Power consumption, Shui Bing'er fired off several more freezing skills in succession, pinning Huo Wu in place so tightly that she could not break free.

By then, Shui Bing'er was in an excellent mood. With the corners of her lips raised, she headed straight off the field without looking back.

It took Huo Wu a full half minute to finally shatter the ice seal with all her strength.

Huo Wu crossed her arms and snorted. "You still dare say that? Weren't you the one secretly laughing just now? You were happy to see me make a fool of myself, weren't you?"

Jia Youcai hurriedly waved his hands, his face full of ingratiating smiles. "How could I dare? I just couldn't hold it in for a moment. I definitely wasn't trying to laugh at you. Besides, Shui Bing'er's freezing skill really is powerful. The fact that you managed to break free in the end was already incredible!"

Hearing that, Huo Wu's anger only flared higher. "Looks like I really need to teach you a lesson!"

Jia Youcai flashed aside. A wise man did not fight when the odds were against him—he ran.

The two girls shouted after him, "Stop right there! Don't run!"

Time quietly passed, and in the blink of an eye, it was the second-to-last day before Jia Youcai and the others' exchange student stay at Skywater Academy came to an end.

That night, moonlight flowed like water. Bored out of his mind, Jia Youcai leisurely wandered around the academy.

Suddenly, a soft notification sound rang out in his mind. He had received the system's familiar perk notification.

Jia Youcai's heart stirred, and he hurriedly opened the system interface. It showed that, because he had successfully defeated the team Skywater Academy had carefully sent out a few days ago through his own strength, the system had specially gifted him a limited-time perk and asked whether he wished to claim it.

He continued following the light, pushing aside the dense layers of branches and leaves before him. Yet the light suddenly vanished, as though he had reached his destination.

Jia Youcai looked closely, and the sight before him instantly stunned him. An involuntary blush rose to his cheeks as well.

Shui Bing'er stood by a small stream ahead. She wore a thin gauze robe, which seemed to be shrouded in a dreamlike glow beneath the moonlight.

She bent slightly, gently scooping up stream water with both hands before sprinkling it over her snow-white skin. Under the moonlight, her skin gleamed with a crystalline luster, as delicate as pure white jade.

Her figure was slender and graceful, every curve perfectly proportioned. She possessed both a young girl's softness and a lively, ethereal air. She lightly flicked her waterfall-like long hair, her movements elegant and natural.

The sight left Jia Youcai somewhat dazed.
