The march kicked up rolling clouds of dust.
Mo Hua rode a new Barbarian Horse trained for him by the Zhuiyun Tribe. Danzhu rode behind him as well.
All along the way, Danzhu could not help glancing at Mo Hua's back, his mind full of thoughts. After traveling for some time, he finally could not hold back any longer and spoke.
"Sir—"
Mo Hua turned to look at Danzhu.
After pondering for a moment, Danzhu slowly said, "Sir, regarding the Zhuiyun Tribe... were you trying to warn me?"
Mo Hua's heart stirred, and he understood at once.
The Zhuiyun Tribe's chieftain had three sons.
Danzhu's father was a chieftain too, and he also had three sons.
Mo Hua had had Chi Feng snap the Zhuiyun chieftain's neck, then "bewitched" Chiju with words and supported him in taking the throne.
And Danzhu was also the third son of the Danque Tribe's Great Chieftain.
In a sense, he too was being "bewitched" by Mo Hua.
The Danque Tribe was far stronger and far more complicated than the Zhuiyun Tribe. The two could not be mentioned in the same breath, yet the problem before Danzhu was the same as Chiju's.
Danzhu was kind-hearted, but also sensitive. He was exceedingly intelligent.
Perhaps he had instinctively seen his own reflection in Chiju.
Perhaps he had also sensed that, in a certain sense, he was merely a "chess piece" bewitched by Mo Hua.
It was only that his value as a chess piece far surpassed Chiju's.
Mo Hua sighed softly to himself.
This "disciple" of his truly was too inwardly refined, too intelligent. His kindness gave him a delicate mind, but it also granted him intuition and comprehension that ordinary people could hardly perceive.
And this was one of the drawbacks of Dao Heart Planting Demon.
