Mo Hua took the little girl Xiao Ju out of the courtyard. They passed through the beautiful landscape and a flock of dancing Immortal Cranes and colorful luan birds. With True Person Rong's token, he opened the mountain gate and left Little Luan Mountain Blessed Land.
Beyond the Small Blessed Land stretched a vast world.
Mo Hua once again set foot on the soil of Kun Province.
A "blessed land" was a place cut off from the world. It held a world of its own, complete with mountains and rivers, and a man-made array that revived its spiritual energy.
Though Little Luan Mountain Blessed Land lay within Kun Province, its land and waters were entirely different from those outside.
While Mo Hua was inside Little Luan Mountain Blessed Land, its seclusion had cut him off from sensing the wider world.
Only now, after leaving the Small Blessed Land and stepping onto Kun Province's soil, did he feel himself resonate with heaven and earth again.
His injuries had improved and his Divine Thought had recovered. He could sense Kun Province's Earth Aura much more clearly than before.
At that moment, the Dao Rhyme of the earth lay beneath his feet, its endless vitality nourishing every living thing upon it.
Mo Hua felt as though every pore in his body were being nourished by the earth. It was a warmth and generosity he could not put into words.
The earth's nature was Kun; Thick Virtue Carries All Things.
Perhaps this was the earth's "virtue": bearing and nurturing all things, an expression of some broader Dao.
